Good Morning all!

Christina - you will be in my thoughts and prayers today!

Danielle - Uncle Ben's makes a Instant brown rice that may work for you.

Got to run - just wanted to pop in and say hi!

kyemom 02-07-2006 11:54 AM

I make brown rice in advance..make enough for 2 or 3 nights at one time.

kyemom 02-07-2006 11:56 AM

I do not think we can eat the instant brown rice...Ruth..Schatzi?? Am I right?

Ruthxxx 02-07-2006 12:11 PM

No instant brown rice. Even the quick cooking is not allowed. Sure it takes 45 minutes but make lots and reheat in the micro.

I keep getting server not found when I try to post so won't we saying much today - lucky you!

It's a gloriously sunny but cold day with temps around 20ºF. I've been out and shovelled the decks and walks. Am I ever glad I chipped away all the ice the other day! An inch of snow on a sheet of ice would be treacherous. My dear neighbour, Moel, just came down, split wood and filled my wood bin to the brim so I'm all set for the day.

Let's see if this will post without an error.

Christina, I hope and pray that all is well with you and your baby.

Holy cow what a day! It needs to start moving along a little faster! I have kick boxing tonight so I finally will get some exercise, and I think I will exercise through American Idol, too. I need to start catching up because I took way too many days off. Makes me really angry with myself because I set a high goal in a month with only 28 days and then skipped 4 days of working out. Duh.

To reach my goal, I have to work out exactly 60 minutes every day, and I know that's not going to happen due to time constraints, so I'll have to go overboard tonight. Although, there are a few days where I have 2 hours of volleyball and 2 hours and 15 minutes worth of kick boxing and volleyball, so hopefully that'll help and I won't have to kill myself to reach that 1500 goal.

Not much else going on besides being down about losing it over the weekend. I know, look forward. It's over. I can't change it. I need to do positive things to make up for it. Yada yada yada. So here's hoping. I only have a month and a half to reach that 129 goal. Time to step it up and work my tail off!

But first, I'm going to have lunch. Hope you all have a great day!

Afternoon, Chickies~~

I couldn't stand staring at my manuscript another minute, so I stopped to do some research, then got sidetracked, then before I knew it, I was here!

Christina, keeping toes crossed, prayers said and good thoughts for you and the baby.

Where the heck is Schatzi lately? Haven't seen her around and it really makes the board seem weird...

Had a little accident this morning and you all can laugh at me if you want.

Went downstairs with cell phone in hand (expecting a return phone call about a possible job) with the intent to make some 7 grain pancakes for breakfast.

When I got to the dining room I noticed there was a yellow string leading from the kitchen through the dining room and out the dog door. Like an idiot, I decided to follow it.

Oh foolish me! I stepped outside and discovered that Dumb@ss Roxy had gotten hold of a skein of yellow baby yarn and whooped and hollered through the house, out the dog door, up the very muddy slope, through some small pine trees (maybe 2feet tall) and apparently lost interest in it at the top corner of our yard.

Still holding the cell phone, I foolishly thought I could retrieve the yarn. Now, I'm not a girl who likes to get her hands dirty unless it's for a very good reason. I started to hike up the slope and promptly fell UP the hill and sank knees, elbows and hands into the red Georgia clay.

I said a VERY naughty word, very loudly and attempted to right myself, all the while holding my poor cell phone, which had become globbed with mud.

Sometimes, I think I belong in that "To Dumb To Live" category.

Got it. I'll make it on the weekend and freeze it in individual bags or something - maybe mix a couple with some veggies, too. MMMMMMM!
Oh Mamacita! LOL!

Oh my god I am so busy today and I have already started with the bad choices!!! One of the other photographers at the paper found out her dad had a heart attack last night so I got stuck with her work to. I have already been to one shoot, I am working at my home job now, I have another shoot at 6 and then a basketball game to cover at 7. I need to plan ahead for tonight. I love concession stand picnics and I need to keep myself away from there. I am carrying around my bottle of water but not drinking it. SOmetimes it is so hard knowing what you need to do and then being silly enough not to do it!

kiko - that is how I am too. I need a plan especially for dinner or things go OP really fast.

crk - you are definitely in my thoughts hun!

sarah - do some cardio for me today lol, I am a busy bee, I admire your dedication.

heather - that sounds like a good idea about the YMCA. I too have to realize that I need to schedule my workouts like important appointments and not find excuses to miss them. It is so hard sometimes.

Tammy - Oreos happen...I keep wanting to try pilates, I can never make the class though.

kye - that is great, more money same distance sounds great to me, keep us posted.

soon - good luck with your Avon...

weezle - you are a workout machine, I think it is ok that you took a couple days off. I know you will be back on track!

mamacita - lol you must have been a sight!

Hi, guys! I haven't forgotten anyone. I've been working almost nonstop on a high severity issue since yesterday morning. We did take a break to sleep but I am still waiting on the software package and will have to install it and test it and then install it on 4 production servers sometime between 9PM and 5AM. How much sleep I will get will depend on when it is released. This is what I get for saying I was going to the gym last night. Instead I got stuck to a telephone with almost continual status calls.

Tonight I have a den meeting and I hope I don't get paged during it. I didn't get to fix what I wanted for dinner tonight either but I do have time for the Indian tomato soup and the pork and pepper salad if I start on it now. Talk to you later!

RNMOM 02-07-2006 10:53 PM

Good night

Some of you are already snoring, hold it down will ya?

I'm finally getting to my email and popped in to say hi.
