Hey chicks! Yesterday was not too good on the water or veggies unfortunately. I felt like crap all day from jetlag. This morning my sinuses are killing me but I just took a pill so hopefully they'll let up. My menu for today is as follows:

B: Mock waffles (w/ my new waffle maker)
L: spinach/romaine salad with roast chicken
S: cucumbers and lauging cow cheese
D: beef and veggie soup, steamed broccoli
S: ricotta something or other

STephanie: you can make the mock waffles in your waffle maker w/ sf syrup. Yummy! Even better than the mock panckaes which are good too!

Icmethinner welcome aboard the more the marrier. Amy I understand about life getting in the way. Just hop on today.

Did really good yesterday. 120oz of water. I know sounds like a lot but it seems to be just about right for me. Lots of veggies. And I didn't have any of the cream cheese danishes that someone brought into the office. Yea for me!!:carrot:

By the way Schatzi your cola chicken is so wonderful I thought I had died and gone to heaven last night. I highly recommend it to anyone.:T :T

Today's menu:

B - Ham & turkey rolled up with smidge bit of chive onion cream cheese, grape tomatoes and cucumbers

S - 4 Bean Salad

L - Left over Cola Chicken (can wait), broccoli, mushrooms, cottage cheese and milk

S - celery with SF peanut butter

D - Sun Dried Tomato hamburgers, spinach/roman salad with cucumbers, tomatoes and celery and probably green beans.

S - SF Jello with a dollop of cool whip

Good luck everyone on staying OP today.

Well yesterday 'went to the dogs' was feeling particularly sick and was not very OP. You know I have noticed that when I do go OP, other than the usual guilt I just feel really sick. It is like when I am eating OP my system feels 'clean' and when I am not my stomach suffers the consequences. Anyway started the morning off right with a good breakfast. Hoping to make it all day as a perfect angel *wink*

Ruth - duh, I cannot believe I planned it that way. Must have been a slip up, but thanks for the reminder on the Peanut/Peanut Butter issue :)

Loving Mommy - I think your menu looks good. Definitely not enough food for me though lol.

Pearshape - I will have to check out that recipe. Is it in the phase 1 breakfast section of 3fc?

OK well it is back to work for me. Hitting the gym tonight would be great, not sure if it will be possible though. Maybe after I shoot the basketball game...

Oh I am a shorty....I am only 5'2 with a very very small frame. I am one of those skinny fat chicks lol. I look great in clothes but pretty different without. I have those love handles than kind of sit over the tops of my jeans in back. And I seem to hide weight in my booty... Overall just trying to tone up...I was about 105 a year and a half ago and it just felt right.

Loving~Mommy2~4 01-10-2006 01:44 PM

Ohh ok I see...

Well I am adding cheese to my turkey burger and also had a cup of milk with breakfast

Schatzi 01-10-2006 01:53 PM

Good adds Lovingmommy! (ps I'm guilty of not enough diary myself... I work in through 2% cottage cheese mostly and plain yougart ;) If you havent tried the Chocolate Shake ..it's awesome and a great way to get in some dairy!

Yippee

Yippee, yippee, yippee:cheer: I lost 2 lbs, yesterday.:goodscale A new day has dawned, for me! :flow1: Remember ladies I am a day ahead of you, on the other side of the world. (Australia) Day 2 will be a little difficult because I will be here, there and everywhere. :bike: A bit tough to push the water, not knowing what corner the nearest loo (toilet) will be around. I think I jumped the gun a bit last night, when at 7:00 I said I had made it through another day. No more had I typed that and logged off, I had a snack attack. :hungry: Cut up a bit of cucumber and snacked on that. I realise, now, the day is not over until you pillow your head and can close your eyes and say, "Well Done". :cp: Does anyone know if the fake crab is allowed on the SB diet? I had already thawed some from the weekend, so I am trying to eat that up, but will not buy, again. Yesterday for brekkie I had 2 veggie quiches, LUNCH: mixed salad with crab, SUPPER: Egg omelet. SNACK: Ricotta cheese, with lime, cucumber, late evening. Any errors, ladies.

Thanks for your support and for inviting me to the newbie site. Catch you on the return trip.:scooter:

I have read where Dr. A said that artificial crabmeat was okay but I wonder if he realized what it contains? There are so many starches in it that most of us have decided it should be avoided.

Arheba 01-10-2006 03:33 PM

That's what I figured about the artificial crab. Thanks for that bit of info.

Loving~Mommy2~4 01-10-2006 09:00 PM

Schatzi yes I tried the shake and it was delish

I also changed my menu around a lil bit I had some grilled shrimp and broccoli instead of Chicken I had chicken last night.

Also having milk with my snack

Arheba 01-11-2006 07:07 AM

What is the recipe for the cola chicken? I am sure it is somewhere, here, but I still am working my way around the different threads. So, if someone could give it to me or point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. Thx.
