While clearing out some of my fat clothes...
While waiting for DS to get out of the tub, I decided to pull out some clothes out of the closet. I tried on several things and was so :D happy as to how they fit. I remember pants that just wouldn't fit comfortable in the spring and now there is a lot of room in them. It is such a morale booster. I encourage anyone that has lost some and needs a boost to try some fat clothes on! I pulled several outfits out to take to the salvation army or Goodwill. I just don't need them anymore. I plan on replacing them with more fitted stuff. I plan on moving away from all of this baggy stuff!

YAY! That is an awesome feeling :). I am inbetween sizes right now with my pants. I can't wait until my stack of 16's and 18's all fit. I have a bunch of shirts that are too big right now. In a way I am torn about those -- it shows that I have lost boobage. That could be from our decrease in nursing too though... I'm gonna miss those big 'uns when they are really gone :(.
|
Yes, I well know the loss of boobies! With nursing my loss was gradual. DS nursed until after his 2nd birthday. But, I have lost some since I started losing weight. Why do they have to be the first to go?
|
The first way I could tell I was loosing weight was by looking at my body from the shoulders to the boobs. I'm gonna miss the girls.

WEll, part of mine can move out and I'd be happy. Once back in the Dark Ages, I weighed 135 and a "friend" congratulated me on my loss and then said "Too bad your boobs are so big!" Grrrr!
I am going to get out some fall clothes this afternoon and be "ruthless" in filling the Goodwill bag. I've already done one bag of the summer ones that I washed and never wore this summer. |
Hmmmm
Speaking of bazzzoooommmss, mine got up and left. My 14 year old dd is bigger than mamma now. Spent 50 dollars on a nice victoria's secret bra and it dents.....I'm having issues with going to an A but might have to deal with it huh? I'm teased relentlessly at work........I sometimes think I'm still in Junior high.
|
RNMOM- Poor girl! They are just jealous! ;) Buy you some of those "fillers" to put in your bra! We can always add some when it suits us for a certain outfit! :D
|
Congratulations.. that is just great.

I am in Ruth's shoes. I am always going to have big un's. Right now I am at a DD, I might make a C again, :cb:!!!!! Here's hoping. I haven't been a C since high school, and that was 11 yrs ago......

Djett, CONGRATULATIONS!!! :cb: That is great news! What an NSV (non-scale-victory)! I think it's great that you are donating them! If they are in good condition, you might consider taking them to a consignment store. Not only will you make some money, but some overweight chickies would love to see your clothes there, I bet! We've made about $80-100 by consigning my old clothes. Just save one pair of pants and one shirt for your fabulous 'After' photos!!! :D
Chickies, I'm with Ruth. It took forever to lose some of my girls and they are still a D. I fully intend to have them reduced to an A when I'm done with kiddos and nursing. I would LOVE to be able to go without a bra or have the built-in ones in a tank top be enough! You are SO lucky to be small...you can always use a push-up if you want, but your shoulders and back don't hurt...you don't have huge bra straps showing with any top that doesn't have sleeves, and you look amazing! :^: Chickies, after meeting Ruthie, I can see why she can get away with her metal bra. :flame: At one point in our weekend, I think she was storing four items in her bosom. She's a very talented girl. ;) Ruth looks wonderful just the way she is, though...which is why she better not be adding a certain black and white outfit to the goodwill bag... :s: |
