Which veggies do you dislike? Have you experimented to see if there is some way you can prepare them so that you can tolerate (maybe even like!) them? For example, I DETEST zucchini - it's not even only the flavor, but the texture revolts me. I've tried cooking it so many ways, it's not funny. However, there are one or two soups I've had and loved which have zucchini in them - and I even liked the zukes! So I know sometimes it's just a matter of experimenting. It's really important to eat a variety of vegetables, not just for the diet, but for your health. Also, it's a LOT easier to get your kids to eat veggies if you eat a lot of them, too. It's really hard to get them to eat vegs when they see you passing them up! Kids can smell hypocrasy at a hundred paces! |
