I LOVE getting in here this early...
Heather, I'm so sorry about your head! Have you seen a doctor? If it is concussed, I think you are supposed to avoid sleeping for a while, so that spider may have done you a favor.

Taking it easy (as easy as you can take it with a toddler!) sounds like a great plan!
Pearshape, I was talking with my dad about my SF ice cream binge and he said that it isn't so much the slip-ups as what you do afterwards that counts. My dad is a wise man! Don't let a slip-up turn into a full-out binge, as that's what usually does you in. I'm the same way, hon, so I know just how that feels, but don't do it! As to deciding how long to stay on P1, if you are near the beginning, I'd just start over. Otherwise, forget the scale! Pay attention to how you feel in regards to cravings. If you are craving, hit P1 for 5 days to a week. If not, keep going on your original plan.

Your sleep sounds wonderful...I only got 3 hours last night and am trying to decide if I should go back to bed for a couple more and go to the gym tomorrow...

Glad you're feeling better! Lack of sleep can lead to bad decisions.
Ruthie, sounds like all of your electronic devices up and died at once!

Is chewing on remotes a sign of being in heat?

Hope the new remote and camera fix don't cost too much! So glad we have you super-mods around to keep things safe and sane in here. Those spammers don't stand a chance against your internationally renowned chicken purse!

Have a great day, hon...hope Lucy is on her way and will get to do this 'au natural' this time.
Me:
I'm planning a fun day just for me...and I'm so excited about it!

I was supposed to get an oil change today, but they didn't have room on the schedule. Instead, I'm going to run some errands (I have to pick up a candle I ordered for someone's charity drive), visit a book sale at the hospital (70% off books!) and take a local trolley tour. Our town is known for our association with Mark Twain and there's a tour you can take on a darling little trolley that tells you all about the history. It's $2 and I've always wanted to do it. Tomorrow is the last day and we'll be working on cleaning and sealing our deck, so I'm going to go today. When I get home, I'm going to work on my quilt and scrapbook for my aunt's birthday. DH and I may go on a guided night hike at a local gorge tonight if we feel up to it.
My weight is still high, but I've been exercising so much, and a lot of it has been strength training, so I feel safe saying that some may be muscle.

Let's hope!

It's also TOM, so I'm still hopeful that I can get to ONEderland (and stay there) by my trip later this month. Not that it will make me look that different, but it would certainly make me feel good!

I'm going to see my friends and family after that, so I'm hoping to maintain the loss there. My mom is one of those who thinks that she should help me find all sorts of ways to maintain my old eating habits but with SBD safe food. I try to avoid those habits (like eating a batch of cookies a day) now...so it's going to be a battle of sorts, there. I'm all set to do it, though!
Have a great day, chickies!
