How bad are these for p2?

I found something new this weekend and would like an opinion as to whether they are OK or a big no. They are called Stacy's Pita Chips. The kind I had was call Simply Naked.

Ingredients:
Pita Bread (unbleached flour, water, oat fiber, yeast, salt, evaporated cane juice)
High Monounsaturated Canola Oil and/or Sunflower Oil
Sea Salt

Nutrition:
Serving size 1 oz
Cal 130
Fat 4 - Not tran or sat
Sodium 140
Carbs 18
Fiber 3
Sugar 2
Protein 3

What do you think?

Cane juice is sugar so I would stay away from these, also they have 4 grams of fat and 2 grams of sugar per 1 oz serving - that is pretty high.

Sorry

Aside from the cane juice, they are not whole wheat. You can make your own using whole wheat pitas.

Exactly. Unbleached flour is still bad, even though it doesn't say enriched, unfortunately.

You'd want these made out of whole wheat. I made some for our Christmas party and they were delicious (and snapped up within an hour!). Try cutting a WW pita with a pizza cutter into six triangles. Then squeeze a garlic clove (or more, if you love garlic) into a small amount of olive oil and mix. Brush this on to the pita triangles and bake at 425 until brown; sprinkle with salt. Yum! You can do this without garlic if you just want plain pita chips.

Thanks. I figured they were pretty nasty as they tasted really good.

Beachgal thanks for the tip on how to make my own. I will try making them in the near future.

When I make these from scratch with WW pita bread, sometimes I add Italian seasoning and sometimes I add parmesan cheese along with the garlic.
