I'm feeling a bit embarrassed. I've been having trouble sleeping, and finally gave in last night and took a "pill". I slept in until 10:30 this morning! :yikes: I don't think I've slept in this late since college! :lol:

I think so, Kyemom. :lol: I'm still confused over the time. It's almost lunch time, and I'm still working on my first coffee. :lol3:

Ellis, I only wish I could sleep that late! I will probably sleep until 9 tomorrow, but have to be at BOTH church services Sunday morning for different things, so no sleepy that night either. Glad you got "caught up" on your sleep, as they say! :D

:wave: Cathy is here and we have talked non-stop since noon yesterday! Having a ball and not even thinking SBD! We are off to a Quilt show shortly and Joan and my BIL are coming for dinner. Gotta dash! :wave:

How are you all??? Sounds like a bit of a chatty Friday morning. Will have a hard time catching up.

At work today, have to work the next 3, boohoo. I'd rather be at home reading a good book or going for a run.

Barb, don't worry about the increase in pounds. I think traveling does that to everyone. I was up 4 pounds from this past week, but I worked out and sweated like nothing I've ever done before.

Ellis, I'm not choosing to go to the same service twice, I just have to. I have to sing with the faculty/staff at the beginning of both services, and after that at 2nd service, Terry is becoming a member of the church! He passed the confirmation classes with flying colors! Now he doesn't have to sit alone in the isle while the rest of us take communion. He'll be part of the Lutheran Mafia too, now. :lol:

Yes Schatzi It was my DH birthday present. We have it hook up & are excited about picking up diffferent states thought the country,to see how the other half lives.

DH called to say he is feeling sad and asked if I would bake some cookies. It's the first time that I have baked cookies using the convection oven~I like it!!!

Hi there - finally made it online - we've been out "saling" all day! Some good finds out there today. I think my best find was a box full of Franciscan earthenware, mostly mint, for $4 - I'm thinking of selling most of it and just keeping the serving pieces. Replacements.com is supposed to email me an offer, so we'll see.

DH got an offer from the place he had the 2nd interview at yesterday! :dance: Yay! He's on jury duty next week, but he will be starting his new job as soon as that is over.

KO - Hooray! Only 1 pound to go for your August goal! You're doing great! I love the name Van Gogh's Ear - for some reason it reminded me of one of our old favorite restaurants (long gone, or as good as since it's moved and completely changed) - it was called the Cyclops; the food was terrific, and the staff were funky and brilliant (for example, one of their chefs always wore a bright pink flowered apron and hot pink lipstick - but he didn't apply it very neatly!). I miss that place - that is where DH and I had our first date.
