Thumbs up Non-Scale Victory

Every three years we visit relatives overseas - this was the year. Ever since our last trip I had a goal to be more comfortable in the airplane seat. (To do up the belt without extending it to its maximum. To drop the table and not have it land on my abdomen.)

Goal achieved!

I still have a ways to go, but this milestone accomplishment makes the progress tangible.

Any other non scale victories out there?

Congrats on the victory. Nothing like the feeling of obtaining a goal we set for ourselves.

That was one of my first non-scale victories too.

Now it's being able to cross my legs! Or shave them without getting out of breath!

Lol Heidi, thats one of my goals for my trip in September. I can only just squeeze into the seat, and end up with bruised thighs after them being squashed against the arm-rests for 5 hours.
I'm very heavy in the thighs and I cant wait to be able to have a little room either side of my thighs .

Congrats! Must feel great!

Good for you Heidi

I've had two non scale victories:

1. Tape measure victory lost 11 1/2 inches off my rearend and 10 inches off my stomach.

2. My butt fit comfortable into the stadium seating when we went to the rodeo a couple of weekends ago.

Wow..you guys rock!!! Sheba's Mom, that is a LOT of inches....wow...way to go!!!

Non-scale victory...I bought some shorts for my trip to disneyland...I was at wally world with my daughter and the jean shorts I have to now wear a belt with as they are a little bit loose! I was trying to hurry and go to the bathroom and holding my cell phone, backpack and my daughters purse and I undid the belt and pulled down my shorts...I thought...man these are tight.. and then realized I hadn't unbuttoned or unzipped them!!
After only 17 pounds!! Woo hoo!!

Ok so this morning in my futile quest for something to wear I came across my Dragon Fly Pants they are size 16 P not a W in sight and the last time I tried them on the button and the button hole were a few inches apart. This time Although Tight I got em Buttoned! I changed to more comfy pants but I was like WOOHOOOO

Shortie THAT ROCKS!
