Need Help
I bought fat free all natural yoghurt. It is plain but I just noticed it has 15g sugar. Is that okay?
|
Sigh*, No Darlin, needs to be 4 grams of sugar or less per 8 oz serving...
Here is a link to the phase 1 food list... this should help you when you are grocery shopping :) http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=49548 |
The list says fat free plain yogurt. That's what I bought.
|
You're absolutely Right.. I misread the list....The list has Fat Free plain Yogurt with no sugar content qualifier... :?: but 15 g of sugar sure sounds high to me ... sorry, I think we need to seek one of the SB Guru's insights...Unfortunately my SB book and guide are packed away.... :(

I would just check the ingredients. It's probably some kind of OK dairy sugar.
|
MomX3, that's fine. Those are naturally occurring sugars.
|
Thanks!!
|
Good question. I was having issues decided on ff yogurt too!

WE all learned something new today... sorry I jumped the gun on y aMomX3 :o

That's alright Schatzi. The reason I was questioning it was because the sugar seemed high to me to. That's why I was questioning it. And it was delicious with splenda and cinnamon.

Milk is a sugar - lactose. It is a good sugar because of the way the body uses it. Enjoy! By the way, check the ingredients too, not just the nutritional analysis.
