There is no sugar in the splenda, there is maltodextrin listed which might be a sugar. There is only one gram of sugar and one gram of "other" carbohydrate listed. I would use them in a pinch but not make a habit of it since it isn't a whole food.
On another note, why can't we have meringue on P1? All it is egg whites, splenda, and vanilla or choclate. I make a meringue cookie recipe with little bit of ground walnuts and milled flaxseed. Is it the cream of tartar that makes it a no no?
