Apple Sauce and Honey instead of Sugar?
I have been searching the web :comp: :?: (OK so I'm not very good at web searching) for something that will tell me how to substitue apple sauce and/or honey for sugar in recipes.
:nono: I can't eat the artificial sweeteners because they make me really ill. :barf: I have found a few things on honey but they are all just enough different that all it did was leave me confused. :dizzy: I haven't found anything on substituting applesauce which is what I would really rather use. Can anyone help me with a web site or a book that I could purchase some where or get at the library that would give me this information? :?: Thanks. |
Do these help any?

Here is some information about substituting applesauce. Applesauce is usually used as a substitute for oil rather than sugar. I'm not sure about subsituting for sugar.
