I'm going to have to try this pulled pork recipe. It sounds so good! It's been hard to find time to post in the daily lately. Today I am working from home since I had to take Brian to get to teeth filled this morning. He was so upset afterwards. He said it hurt but I think the numbness just really bothers him. Anyway, he is fine now and I managed to drop him at day care in time for the field trip to the theatre.

I had some excitement yesterday. I was at the animal shelter in the evening (Brian was at swim lessons) and as I was taking a dog back to his cage after walking him, he nipped me. He was trying to bite the other dogs but got my leg by mistake. Just a tiny puncture wound but they will have to quarantine him for 10 days to be sure he doesn't have rabies. He has no symptoms so I should be fine but I hate the fact that it makes him less adoptable. :( I've told Brian that he will need to wait at the end of the hallway when I get dogs or bring them back since I wouldn't want to take a chance with him.

Anchor... I did see the cute lil pup! Now don't be makin eyes at the X tryin to get to the pup! lol

Angelshine...Was it you that just got a new car or someone else. I would have been more upset that it was on my car than the fact that I spilled it. Although I am so picky I would have never sat it on my car I would have put it on the ground if I had to sit it down! lol I'm a wacko when it comes to certain things! lol

Well DS went to work with me today. Jimmy (boss man) let him do some clean up around the shop and stuff like that. He washed a couple of the vehicles that were there. He was gonna wash my car but I said no cause it was total sun and hot and I didn't want that soap sitting on my car in the hot sun cause it can't be good for it. Another one of my quircks about my car! lol Well I have a ton to do. I need to take DS shopping for shorts but I think he's tired from workin outside all day! I am goin to prop my knee up it has hurt pretty bad today for some reason. Catch y'all chicks later!

Hey, chickies! Just a quick post to let you know I'm still alive! I've been training the new gal at work. Today's my last day! :cb: I have orientation for practicum (like student teaching) tomorrow, then we leave to spend the Fourth with the in-laws.

Be back on the boards Tuesday afternoon. I know you'll all behave while I'm gone...since Ruth is in full possession of the chicken purse and Ellis has her finger hovering over the delete key. ;)

Sorry I haven't been around much. Life has been hectic and work has been, well, I really can't use those words on here.

Going on a much needed vacation next week. Just thought I would pop in quick enough to post a pic of my new bathing suit - it's my first 2-piece!! LOL - ok so it's a tankini.... The best thing about it?? The letter "W" doesn't follow the size!! It's a 16, folks. I'm blown away.

Mmm, chicken capri (sp?), caeser salad and a big frosty glass of water for dinner. It was delicious!
