Phase I night sweats?

Hi,

I'm coming out of lurkdom to introduce myself and ask a question.

I am on day 11 of Phase I of SBD and it has been going well. I am OP and losing weight (see moderate loss on scale and feel it more in clothes).

Here's my question: after the initial few days of headaches, I have been feeling pretty good. For a couple nights now, though, I have woken up with night sweats! This is a totally new thing for me, and I am wondering if it could be part of the detox process. I have heard that SBD can have an effect on hormones.

BTW, I am 38 y.o., so I don't think it could be perimenopause.

Has anyone experienced or even heard of night sweats as a result of SBD?

thanks in advance

I'm on day 11 of Phase I as well and also had a night sweat last night and once last week. I'm 30 years old so I doubt it has anything to do with perimenopause. I'm curious to see if anyone else has any info because I'd like like to know, too!

The first thing I thought when I saw the title of this post was, "How old are you!?"
Laurel (and Changa!), that sounds vaguely familiar. I think that did happen to me, too. And I don't think it lasted long.
Anyone else?

(Laurel, don't rule out perimenopause! ;) I started getting night sweats at 38.)

Yep, me too. It happened toward the end of Phase I, for about 3 days I think. Mine was when I would wake up in the morning though. Then it went away.

I'm ONLY 32. ;)
