Another newbie
 

I'm actually a Sugarbusters however it isn't working this time! I had lost 45 lbs on Sugarbusters - then gave up smoking last October and all H... has broken loose! Gained every pound back plus some, got some sort of auto-immune thingy where I couldn't stand for more than a minute or walk more than 2 blocks. I was beginning to think that it hadn't been worth it. Anyway finally I'm feeling normal again and I got back on Sugarbusters (actually I always more or less followed it - whole grain etc) but nothing! Joined a website and counted calories and I was starving! Low blood sugar, cranky etal! So I thought I'd try South Beach as it is so similar to Sugarbusters (matter of fact I think the Beach was stolen from my beloved Sugarbusters!) - but it doesn't have Phase 1. So - perhaps that is what this body needs - a good swift kick! I started Phase 1 today. I am concerned about being able to stick with it for the full 2 weeks. I hope this works - it's my last resort. :D

Welcome aboard Zanesgrammy! My sister goes by Grammy and I think it is so cute! I'm always thinkin about what I want my grandchildren to call me in another 10 or 15 years when I have them! lol Good luck on the beach I think you will like it here!
