After Workout Snack
 
Is there a good snack to have after a workout on P1???
Thought about a cheesestick or some plain yogurt, but wasnt sure.

I guess it would depend on what would make you feel satisfied. My stand by snack is ff yogurt and peanut butter. I think that veggies and cheese would be a better choice.

Before I work out, I'll usually eat some almonds. (a trainer recommended this to me)
Afterwards, I usually have string cheese.

Honestly, I'd try to reduce the fat (nuts and cheese are both high in fat) and try eating something that combines beans (good carbs and protein to keep you full) with veggies (more good carbs and fiber to fill you up), like 3 bean salad (homemade) or peppers and hummus. Pure protein won't give you the energy you're craving during and after a workout. Make sure you get enough water as well. :)

I like hummus, natural peanut butter or lite laughing cow cheese stuffed in a celery stick. Even a veggie salad is good. Plenty of water before and after a workout. Sometime I drink it during. LOL Depends on how long the tape is and how much of a workout. ;) How much sweating I do also. :wl:
