Hi all -- -thank you all for the welcome -- I do hope you allow us to keep this thread open for a bit -- so that we can find our other friends a little easier and yes we would love to join you in your main area as well. I hope you can understand - we all came to rely on our forum (as I am sure you have with this one:) ) bonds where formed - and we had a feeling of being lost yesterday -- keeping these threads open for a bit will help us help those that are just discoving that the other place is gone -- to help ease their feeling of being lost and alone again. Cause we have lost everything at the moment -- our journals are gone -- our weekly weight in threads are gone, our challenge groups are gone, and our friends cause most of us didn't even think of anything like this happening didn't prepare for it - are gone. Our history is there, our ups and downs are there - kind of like a world disaster happened and we are all searching for our loved ones now -- so thank you for your support and welcoming is into your groups - I greatly appreciate it -- and i will be enjoining you right after this post actually :). I do look forward to making new friends -- but if I can I also want to help as many of the other forum people find easy into the new forum -- that they aren't alone -- and we understand the feelings they are going through :). And you know what -- i wouldn't of even though such feelings would of surfaced myself - so please - you never know when this could happen or what feelings would hit you if it did --- take the procautions now - get emails of your buddies on here -- just encase - I hope it never happens here - but just in case -- so you don't feel abandon, lost and alone :). I know it is not as serious as a house fire, or world disaser (oh i can't spell if as you can tell now ). someone my group understood with me :). But surprisingly the feels are/were very similiar to something of that nature for us. The forum was like a home away from home -- in truth most of us had greater support and understand here then in our homes. As some of you may also feel here :). So I am making my nest now - and setting up house :) thanks for the welcome. If my forum does return -- I will do both places now - for new friendship are here now too :).

:grouphug: Of course, we'll leave this "Refugee" thread open for a while. I totally understand how you feel. I go into withdrawal when 3FC is offline and I usually know it is coming back up. I'm sure your SBD official website will return - after all, you did pay for it.

No ruth it was totally free like this one is for us to post in -- I am assuming now that someone pays for it -- and that may be the problem-- maybe the bill was not paid for.

it was not an offical site -- though it was a sololy southbeach diet site. where this site is multi diets on it (which is pretty cool inside to be set up so clearly that way even).

I dont' think the site will be back - is says the url can't not be found -- it goes no where. Not to a server is down page - or under construction, or we have moved, or server is busy nothing -- just get a messaging saying - url can not be found check url again (like you are typing in the address wrong ) Poof gone. Even if it gets restarted - Iam pretty sure all that was there journals, etc that it will be all gone now. and it would be starting from freshly over -- right down to having to register and stuff I am sure (but I am not holding my breath - i am sure it is gone for good now) so we have our tents set up here -- as we build our new nests in our new locations on this forum :). Thank you so much for understanding -- and opening your doors to us :).

Hi refugees - welcome. You know, I noticed Miz Frog's web site is also down. Hope they weren't shut for legal reasons. I had heard somewhere that the official South Beach folks were shutting down the unofficial ones that had too much specific information.

That is what I thought might of happened to ours -- i don't know the site you just mentioned though -- but halfame has found out that several of the phbpp forums where hacked yesterday and poof gone. Several of them apparently back up and running again today -- so i don't know if the south beach was shut down or if it was hacked now. Normally if there are legal issues -- things are posted in that regard -- nothing had been posted -- and it usually makes the news and goes to court first.

I don't think they can set down a forum of a group of people talking about Southbeach and praising the plan. Freedom of speech and all - but who knows. If it doesn't come back we have a new home at least :) and I am enjoying making the new friends?

So what was this site about that you mentioned above? A personal website? or a forum or what was it? I am assuming it was something related to south beach now from the rest of your comment.

Hi, Miz Frog had full details of the plan so you didn't even need to buy the book, although I did buy the book. In addition she had lots of recipes too. It was a personal site. This site has always been my main community, but I used to check in at Miz Frog and the phbpp site too (particularly fond of OldGreyBob!)

Hope everything will be back to normal and that there is no sinister reason for it all.

oh yes oldgraybob -- is where i got the recipe for the wholewheat blueberry muffins - did you try those out -- they really are very good -- however I added his recipe an put in vaniella, nutmeg and cinnomon :). lol the colour of the muffins though lol are greyish lol but they do taste very nice and very light -- I make them in mini muffin trays even -- and had them as snacks :). I remember what all goes in it lol lol but i am hoping i still have the print out somewhere now -- cause if I don't I will be doing a guessing game on the amount of each item lol lol -- most of it can remember since I did do it a couple of times -- but the whole wheat flour -- I am not sure now lol I think it was 1 1/4 cups of that lol lol -- or was that the buttermilk lol lol - maybe when I actually make them again --- it will just automatically come back to me :).

Or maybe someone here - posted in this forum too :) I haven't got to the recipe section here yet -- but I will when I am in the mood to do something different again :).

by the way congrads on 44 pounds -- that is really very good :) keep up the great work :)
