Newbie, again
Happy Easter everyone!!!!!
I started SB last week, however it didn't go very well. I think it was mainly because I wasn't prepared. You know, all the wrong foods still hanging around and not enough of the proper foods. Also we had a lot of birthdays at work last week, so there were lots of temptations hanging around. This is the second day that I have not 'cheated'. I got a few recipes from the site and made them last night, I'm big on having everything ready to go. So now I have breakfast and lunches ready for the next 3-4 days. I feel more in control now then I did last week. I even went out and got some sugar free hard candy, so rather then grabbing something bad, I'll pop one of those in my mouth. :p It also helps that both of my parents are on the same page, and are helping to keep me on track. I'm really excited and believe I'm going to be able to stick to it this time. :D |
I'm starting again tomorrow, although it's been over a year from my last try (yes, it takes me that long to get up the drive to do it again!!) I am worried that I'll have the same problem that you had on your first week....not being prepared. I haven't had a chance to pick up what I need, although I do have some good sources of protein in my house. My biggest fear is my kids' Easter baskets staring me in the face!! I am ADDICTED to sugar!!! That's what I have to get away from, and I'm hoping I can do it this time!! Good luck to you!!

Morning all, and thank you for all the warm welcomes.
Major planning is going to be a huge thing for the next 2 weeks, but I'm ready. I was curious and checked my weight this morning, so after three days on SB and not cheating .. I've lost 2 pounds. :D That's exciting. |
