That's his name...Ben Browder! I agree with you on the Dr. Jackson. He definately needs a love interest! Where do you think the Carter/O'Neill thing will go? I thought they had dealt with that in the ep where she was the only one on that ship they built and was hallucinating. I think if he gets a job at the pentagon, then they should get together. They have been good long enough.

I love Sheppard, too! His character is the greates! I love the humor he brings and the braun! And he is DEFINATELY a hottie! When they first said they were coming out with a spin-off, I was a little worried that it wouldn't be as good as SG-1. I am really glad they have done such a great job with it!

I caught the box company reference, too! Did you catch the connection between Sawyer and Jack? When it showed him in that bar and he talked to that guy...who was Jacks dad... I am quite addicted to it. I keep waiting for the next thing they reveal...

ChinkyDragonfly 03-14-2005 04:30 PM

Shannon: Yeah, they really need to get the Carter/O'Neill thing going. It's been long enough. I didn't see the ep w/ her alone on that ship. What season was that?

I like Sheppard, but I also like the neurotic McKay. He's one of those annoying yet likeable characters. How is that all these aliens and humans from other planets all speak English?!!

I did catch that Jack/Sawyer reference. You saw Sawyer in Boone's backstory, right? I think I heard they were going to expound on that. I like Sun and Jin's story too. I like how she think he's this horrible person and not the person she married, but in fact he's really a good person. Did you see Hurley on the TV in Jin's backstory? I heard they played the song from Charlie's band on an ep in Alias.

Ok, I have to admit, I've actually been watching YOUNG BLADES on PAX TV lately. It's so cheesy, but good.

ChinkyDragonfly - Luke and Lorelai did get back together :) Lorelai's mom went to Luke and said that "he won", and that he needs to get back together with Lorelai because she's chosen him. So Luke went to her place and when she opened the door he kissed her.. it was great. Almost beats the last episode of Sex and the City, almost. Oooh! And this week Rory saw Logan with another girl and was regreting their decision to keep things loose, so when Logan's friend asks her to a party.. she goes with him. And when Logan see's her with him, he goes insane (even though he's with a girl), and he admits that he doesn't want her to date other guys. They go off together at the end of the show. Logan is totally my type (if he was real ;) ). I don't think it's a new episode this week.. but I will be waiting for one :)

Ahhh, I wish I would have seen that ep where Luke and Lorelai get back together. The one where they finally kiss for the first time was a great ep too. He has pretty eyes. :o) Logan kind of looks like that kid on American Idol - the Russian guy - Federov or something like that... except he doesn't wear glasses. :oD My type of guy - Gerard Butler (he was Phantom in the recent film version of Phantom of the Opera).

Hmmm.... I watch Dallas (reruns on Soap net) Am.Idol, Super Nanny, Nanny 911, Desp.HW, Judging Amy, Amaging Race, Survivor, The Apprentice, Extreme Home Makeover, The Bachelor/ette, Surreal Life, Celebrity Fit Club, Without a Trace, CSI, Fear Factor.
Can you tell I am a reality junkie! I don't get to watch all of them all the time but I watch if I can. I only watch tv at night usually other than dallas which comes on at 2.

ChinkyDragonfly 03-15-2005 12:48 PM

Ugh, I can't stand the reality shows, though I did watch the first season of Apprentice and I occasionally watch Celebrity Fit Club just to see how Mia is going to break down again this week...

Bunnababy 03-15-2005 01:10 PM

I love having DVR cuz I can store the shows I like then watch them at my leisure and it cuts down on time cuz I whiz through the commercials.

CSI--the original
CSI--Miami
All of the Law & Order except crappy intent, oh sorry that is supposed to be Criminal Intent
Cold Case
Dr. Phil

If I am watching live tv I watch Court TV Investigative Reports or Psychic Detectives or A & E Cold Case Files, American Justice or City Confidential.

After spending some time listing my favorite authors on the other thread I am going to spend less time watching tv and more time reading. Oh by the way I recorded Mitch Albom's 5 people and loved it, I kept it for my dh to watch sometime. Now I want to read the book.

ChinkyDragonfly 03-15-2005 01:59 PM

I watch CSI Miami on occasion but I CAN'T STAND it when David Caruso puts his hands on his hips! It's like that in every scene! He doesn't know what to do w/ his hands! It's annoying! One scene it'll be both hands on the hips, the next it'll be his left hand on the hip, and the scene after that it's his right hand on his hip or in his pockets! It's like the sun, you can't avoid looking at it and you can help but to look at it!

Bunnababy 03-15-2005 02:12 PM

Too funny, I never noticed. Am going to watch last night's episode in a few so will have to notice. :dizzy:

Aimee, good to see you! I haven't seen you around in quite a while!

I love Gilmore Girls too, and Luke and Lorelei (the name comes from an Irish sea monster, like Nessie of Loch Ness!) are adorable! I'm so glad they are back together...I figured they'd make us wait until next season to find out if they are back together! I also realy like Rory and her new man...but I wonder what will happen next with them... :chin:

I watch more TV than I should, but I also love to read and sit quietly. So I tape all my shows and watch them at lunch when I'm eating. I tape:

Medium
Committed
Will & Grace
Gilmore Girls
Sex & The City (on TBS)
ER
Joan of Arcadia

SwimGirl 03-15-2005 03:11 PM

I think I should stop watching the Gilmore Girls, I'm so happy now that I couldn't stand it if something bad happened. I'm one of those people who really enjoys happy endings, thats the point of watching a movie/tv for me.. to escape my life!

Thank you Laurie! I have been lurking.. not really posting because I've been very bad lately (Ahem, Wendy's for lunch, jr bacon cheeseburger, fries AND a coke!). I am still losing a few here and there.. but am really trying to make this a lifelong thing (2-3 Perfectly on plan meals a day, 1 semi cheat).

Why is TV so addicting? I'm looking at all the shows everyone is listing and wonder why I ever leave the house!! ;)

:lol3: Me, too, Chinky! I'm not fond of most reality tv...it doesn't do much for me. The things they make people do just don't ring true for me. Real life isn't like that, you know? I do enjoy watching the outtakes from American Idol, but I've never watched the rest of the show. I'm proud to have never watched Survivor. ;) (I'm a reality TV snob! :snooty: )
