Is this SBD "friendly"????

I found this snacks at Kroger..........SNYDER'S of HANOVER.. OAT BRAN STICKS.... They are pretzel like (about the size of a #2 pencil, and about 6"" long...welll if they're not broken) heres the scoop...

Total Fat 0g saturated Fat 0g Cholesterol 0mg Total Carbs 25g Fiber 2g
Sugars 3g Protein 3g

Ingredients: Organic wheat flour, water, organic oat flour and oat bran, organic evaporated cane juice, salt, yeast, sodium bicarbonate.

Now the only thing in the ingredients is "organic evaporated cane juice" ...is that a fancy, Healthy way of saying SUGAR????? :?:

One serving is 18 for 120 calories.............

They are very good and CRUNCHY......which is what I miss!

Thanks....Patty

Yep, it sure is! I believe Organic wheat flour is a fancier version of white flour too, but could be wrong. It should be Organic WHOLE wheat flour to be beachy :)

No, definately not SBD friendly.

Evaporated Cane Juice = SUGAR ..

A lot of times Cane Juice is listed in the ingredients, it's one of those "hidden sugars" we have to watch out for. Manufacturers do that to sort of, confuse the customer into thinking there's no sugar in a product.

Sorry :(
