Default Nice and beachy VDay gift idea for the cook in the family

If you don't have a Raclette, you might consider getting one for the cook in your life We use ours at least once a week and it is such a lovely way to enjoy a meal. Mine is from Sur La Table if you'd like to see a pic. I know some people are not familiar with this lovely appliance

Swissmar Raclette Grill

A surprisingly carefree and gracious supper for family or guests, raclette is a delectable Swiss cheese dish that has been popular for centuries. In the traditional service, grilled vegetables, cornichons and other accompaniments are served with melted cheese. While you are grilling your favorite meats, fish or vegetables on the non-stick grill, the raclette cheese slowly broils to perfection in the eight raclette dishes underneath. Variable temperature control lets you heat up food and keep it warm. Comes with eight heat resistant spatulas for spreading the warmed cheese. Spatulas and cheese trays are dishwasher safe.

Sure. We used it for dinner tonight. We made (and it really is we because we fix our own choices ) filet mignon, shrimp, zucchini and asparagus spears. DH had some new potatoes and grilled bread as well. It is fun because it takes awhile to prepare the meal, we sit and chat and the food is delicious.
