Hiya
Sounds like you all had fun with trick or treaters. We only had 10 so there was a ton of candy. Had a planned day off yesterday and had some. Felt like yuk this morning. I'm hoping my stray from the beach yesterday doesn't get me going.....don't want to do phase 1 again, but I'm doing good so far today.
I'm struggling getting exercise in, I'm so tired lately, but I know that will make this month MY MONTH!!! Need to get motivated! Hope you all have a nice day on the beach! |
A Broad - I'll post it when I get home. I would try to do it from memory but it might not come out the same.
Sweet Tooth - Oh MY GOODNESS! I would have been bawling into a big glass of wino :faint: if that was my weekend. Yup - let me know where you are going next! And that neighbor - I would be marching over there and giving them advice on how to be neighborly - I did that once and it actually went pretty well! Sarahyu - That little boy sounds adorable! Ho Ho Ho - I can see it now. You brought tears to my eyes. I took my little guy off school lunches starting today! He is blowing up from 2 months of school lunches. What on earth do they put in those things? I packed a banana for snack and tuna for lunch. He was grumbling but actually sounded excited about having tuna for lunch. Not as cool as having Bosco Stix I guess. I'll peep in later! |

1/4 - 1/2 cup sugar substitute (I used the granular splenda) 1/4 cup lemon juice 1/4 cup white vinegar 1 teaspoon celery salt 1 teaspoon garlic salt (I used garlic powder) 1 small head cabbage shredded 3 ribs celery chopped 1/2 green bell pepper chopped 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives 1/4 cup sliced radishes In a large bowl whisk together the sugar substitute, lemon juice vinegar celery salt and garlic salt. Add the cabbage, green pepper and chives and toss lightly. Cover and refridgerate overnight. Add the radishes immediately before serving. I used the cheater cole slaw that comes already sliced up and you buy it in the grocery store in a bag. I just put it in a bowl and poured the juice/sugar/vinegar mixture over the top. Let it set overnight. It was super! I used 1/2 of a cup of splenda but next time will try the 1/4 cup because it was very sweet. It really took care of the sweet tooth! |
