Kraft Foods

Just sharing....

If you go to the Kraft Foods website- www.kraftfoods.com - there is an entire section on the SB diet. Of course, it is suggesting the use of their products, but there were lots of good recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and desserts. I know many of us are always looking for new ideas, and it looked like some of this stuff was pretty tasty.

I'm going there now - thanks!

Thanks Kiko! There were some interesting ideas there...esp. the strawberry yogurt parfait, the crustless quiche and the cheesy turkey-wrapped broccoli. I'm always looking for fast meal ideas. I'll have to do my homework and check out the ingredients in some of the ingredients, but I think it was worth checking out! :D

Hey, check this out! It looks like the SBD Kraft products are simply those products they make that Dr. A recommends for the diet. Helpful for those of us trying to easily locate products, but nothing really new.

Same old stuff but they've stuck SBD onto it in the website. We KNEW about this, didn't we?

I'm confused. I just checked the site and it has:
CRACKER BARREL - CHEESE - NATURAL CHEDDAR VERMONT SHARP-WHITE

But it's not reduced fat, part skim milk or fat free. It's the regular full fat version. I wonder how that is south beach recommended? I did see that the blurb above it did say "Kraft 2% Reduced Fat and Fat Free Natural Cheeses help provide essential nutrients to your diet."

I wonder if they are fibbing or stretching the truth just a tad?

Thanks for sharing!!! I didn't know about the site and went there and downloaded several recipes.

Ruth, we did know about this, but I thought that they were coming out with new products that were SBD friendly, not just putting labels on old products. Did I miss something? That wouldn't be abnormal... ;)

Sarah, I believe we are supposed to look for cheeses that have less than six grams of fat per serving...does the Cracker Barrel fit that description?
