TGIF EVERYONE!!!

Its finally here Friday.I:dancing: Not much going on here already hot outside. Getting ready to have DD friend over to play. So that should keep the girls busy and entertain today. We are not really doing anything this weekend but moving stuff out of our old house into our new house. We finally got a contract last week and close on the 25th. :cheer: We also hadve a storage place to unload. I guess I will get my work out moving boxes and finding a place for the other stuff.

Good luck to all you campers this weekend. Would love to do that again but it has to cool off here b4 I would go.:hot: Well hope everyone has a great Friday.
Bye

Morning

Hi all

Clovey, so sorry about the kitty. Prayers her way.

Ruth, I would love to have a Sarah. You need to post pictures of your garden.

Ellis, you could come to Idaho, we're pretty warm today! I'd even feed ya! I would even leave you alone so you could have the weekend to yourself. ;)

Mamacita, I can't even believe you would use the word "slacker" in the same sentence as your name! You need to post a few pages of your writing so we can all read some of your stuff.

Justjodi, have fun camping. I'm so envious! I love to camp.

Little chick, can you come over and do some laundry here? Pretty please????

Barb, I read that if you put a fabric softener sheet in your back pocket, the mosquitos will leave you alone. Way to get the fam walking!

Smilintwins, sounds like scary stuff for you, try and relax. Sending prayers your way.

Beachgal, cool about the trainer. Makes me want to do less aerobic and more weights. What's a cantor? Sorry if that's a dumb question. Sending positive thoughts and prayers your way.

skherb, how fun to move into a new house. Hope your DD plays well all day and that you get a ton done.

As for me, I'm going to do some shopping, cleaning, cooking and gardening. I love having days off. I'm off work now for two weeks. (hopefully the hospital won't call, I have such a hard time saying no to doubletime. I'm such a prostitute!) My kids start coming in tomorrow night! I"m so excited to see them. My son and his wife with three little grandsons will be here sometime on Sunday. My husband hasn't seen the new little baby who is now 2 months old! They are such cute little stinkers! Then my son who has been in Japan for two years gets here on Wednesday! I feel like one of the Price is Right crazy ladies! You know the ones who act like fools when their name is called to "come on down!" That's how I feel. Hopefully I can settle down today and get the rest of the stuff done that I want to get done.

I told my husband that it's hard to get things done that I want to get done when I'm working fulltime. I made a comment to him that I need a wife. He looked at me and said, "well, I've got a wife and I don't get it all done". Should he sleep on the couch tonight?

Well, I've certainly rambled. Hope you all have a great day! :D

Good morning, beauties! I nearly froze my :censored: off today! 54°F at 5am, and me in a tank top and shorts! I was already out the door for my walk, so I just kept on walking. No sense in trying to find sweats in the dark while DH was sleeping with the bed looking cozy and the cold, dark lurking outside. Sunrise was GLORIOUS! My friend the red fox was out for a stroll as well, though the geese have moved on. Hum, guess I can turn off the AC now. It is still August, isn't it???

I learned a nice stretch yesterday...it looks totally ridiculous. I think it's called the dead beetle or something in yoga terms, but if feels awesome. You lay on your back, tighten your tummy, put your legs in the air and grab your big toes w/ your index and middle fingers. It stretches your inner thigh, lower back, and glutes...umm, very nice. I almost burst into laughter at the sight of myself in the mirror! Like an inverted sumo wrestler! :lol3: It was a struggle to maintain my composure, but I did for the sake of the other yogis in the class.

The Wee Princess has been getting up unusally early this week and I'm beginning to find it very nice. We have a bit more time together than when I have to drag her out of the crib with sleep in her eyes and deposit her at the BBsitter's.

Boring day at work here...thank you, ladies, for preventing me from slipping into a mental coma. Not really looking forward to spending the weekend with the Out-laws, and DH has made other plans for himself, so I'll be the Princess's chaperone for all three parties. Oh, pooh. I eagerly await the day when she is no longer the only grandchild!!!

I've been doing very well this week with eating OP and exercising. No morning walk yesterday and I sorely missed it, but golf was excellent and I got a new pair of Tommy Hilfiger shorts on sale (no others available at the store, they've changed seasons already). My dark mood has lifted and I feel like my usual self. Work has sponsored two dragon boats to race in September. I wanted to sign up, but the teams were filled. Now they're looking for alternates, so I might give it a shot. I've heard that it's extremely challanging. Wonder if I'm up for it???

Jodi & Little Chick: I live in Penn and know folks who went to the race, haven't heard a thing about a dead body in the woods, so maybe she's okay?

Jen: Stay positive, little bodies are quite a mystery and I'm hoping your concerns will be unfounded.

Clovey: My heart aches for your kitty's illness. I hope she gets better soon!

Laurie: I'm so glad to hear you're enthused about the personal trainer! I've been told the same thing about weight training and metabolism...it really does pay off. Good luck cantor-ing, I'm sure you'll be wonderful. And have fun in Pittsburg. Do you plan to see the new baseball stadium? I would love to go there, even if it means watching the Pirates! :p

All the campers: Have fun! I've tried for years to get DH to go camping. Every family vacation when he was young was spent camping and he never wants to do it again. I've only been once before and I loved it. It POURED overnight and in the AM, we woke to six inches of water in our tent. Next time (if there is one), I plan to pitch the tent on higher ground! :smug:

Barb: Congrats on the family walk! What a great idea! Ummm...broccoli cheese soup...ummm! I should make that tonight since it's cool out--DH can't eat soup in warm weather. "It's just not natural."

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

HI Everyone... running late so don't have much time, just thought I would post a quick "hi"! :)

This morning the analog scale says that I'm down a pound or two (I can't see that far to those dang little lines!) but the digital scale is on strike again, for DH it reads 7 pounds differnt than the analog scale and for me it says 230.4 no matter what and has been doing that for 3 or 4 days. It's SO fired!

I'm going to play up at the stable today helping out with a farm animal program for little kids and then this afternoon I'm finally taking a riding lesson from the owner.

Anyway... Angie (little dog) dosn't seem to be doing much better with the eye that had the "cherry eye" surgery. I took her to the vet and he insists that it's all normal (I still don't belive him completely). He put another suture in the incision that was made across the empty socket to clean out the infection, which I'm glad for but annoyed me because I thought they pulled a stich when they pulled off all the scabs earlier this week *grr* ...and I usually am so happy with this vet *sigh*

Well... best go finished getting dressed and get out of here... should have left the house 20 min ago!

...OH! I went to the JCC the other day, got a week long (free) trial membership... took the water aerobics class yesterday, loved the pool but wasn't impressed with the class. More like aerobics for seniors in the water. Frustrating.

Love you guys!

:foot:

WWWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

The scale finally moved! :goodscale It's been two weeks and finally it read 178 instead of 180. I'm so relieved. I actually had to weigh myself twice to believe it!

I was so excited about the scale that I even passed up the MOST delicious looking chocolate, chocolate cake, iced with chocolate, filled with chocolate, and topped with chocolate.*sigh* I just knew that my elation would end as soon as the guilt started. Besides, I'm sure it wasn't really that good. *Lord, please let me have the strength to resist the multitude of temptations I'm going to encounter this weekend.* :strong:

Have a great weekend!
