Hi everyone!!!

I know it's been ages since I've posted, I've been keeping so busy that I'm barely even glancing at e-mails.

I stayed home this morning to take my little dog to the vet for a follow up appt. She had to have surgery on both her empty eye socket and her remaining eye... she had cherry eye in the good eye and had somehow developed some sort of abcess in the empty socket... that eye was removed over 4 years ago so I have no idea how she got an infection in there now. She's doing okay, but the vet pulled the scabs off the sutured incision over the empty socket and now I'm worried about the edges of the incision gaping open a bit at the top... *sigh*

I'm also apparently "stuck" on the diet. I have not gone off plan but one time with DH, we had some low fat frozen youghurt but I was stuck before that. I seem to be gaining and loosing the same two pounds... I guess I need to go back to phase one for a while, and I'm very frustrated by still being at 230 most of the time. *grrr* I get down to 228, but then it's back, I suppose it's water but it's not 225 which is where I wanted to be at the end of this week. SO.....

This weeks goal is to weigh less than 230 pounds!

I miss yacking with everyone... I am going to try to set aside an hour a day to come read and visit. I'm not such a good organizer and after a day at the stables with the horses I tend to come home, shower and then have to fix supper.

Miss everyone very much.

Laurie, I can relate to how you feel about health and doctors and stuff. At one point I had so many doctors I couldn't keep track of all their names.

Laurie, thanks for the :grouphug: and :sunny: . You're an  ! I needed a little inspiration.

Maybe I'll just get a some TLC this evening...following our kabobs, of course. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in trying to be Super Woman/Wife/Mom/Employee that I forget to pamper myself from time to time. I could give myself a manicure and sip on some herbal tea. And listen to some nice relaxing music. Ah...that would be much better than going off plan and feeling guilty.

Feeling better already!!! :cp:

THANKS!

No problem, Laurie! Anytime. :goodvibes:

I think your evening sounds heavenly and that you should do it!!! :cheer: We all need to refill our "me tank" every now and then...you can't be a super anything running on empty!

ADD, thanks for understanding. That's about the point I'm at...I've got over seven people prescribing meds for me...and I'm on nine meds each day. I'm 29. This is ridiculous! I have more pills each day than my 93 year old Bobie! ;) I hope we can see you in here more often...you are missed, but I'm glad that you are staying OP and enjoying that horse! I'm sending lots of (((((((((((move, scale!!!))))))))))))) vibes your way. Expect to weigh in at least five pounds lighter tomorrow.

 I wish it worked that way...but I do hope that it moves for you soon...I know what encouragement that can be!!! :grouphug:
