Default Daily Dish email and SouthBeachDiet(dot)com membership

I love the Daily Dish emails from SouthBeachDiet(dot)com. You can sign up for them for free!

I don't have a paid subscription to SouthBeachDiet(dot)com. I can't imagine $5 a week being worth access to their website. It seems like a pretty pricey fee for a website. Although, I don't really know what all you get for that $5. I would be interested to hear from anyone who is a member.

I guess no one is a SBD(dot)com member. :-)

I keep debating back and forth on this. I am doing WW with a kind of SBD twist. However, I was thrown a curve this past week when the Pediatrician told me to take dairy and eggs out of my diet. My son was diagnosed with 'excema and this may be part of the problem.

So I don't know at this point what I am going to do.

My mom was a member and I went on her account a few times. For me, I don't think it is worth it. It does give you meal plans, recipes, message boards and new releases on studies and stuff. I only checked it out for a bit.

However, I don't cook a lot and I can usually find something great and tasty on here for free. Or any other recipe website. I don't follow meal plans, so they were not good for me. It does give you a grocery list. But sometimes a lot of things are listed a few times if more than one recipe called for it in the menus.

It is all a personal decision. Too bad the site didn't offer a trial to see if you liked it, or maybe it does, I don't know. I just know whatever is of use to me on there, I can get here. Hhope this helps

We've heard from several people in the past who tried the subscription service and didn't see much advantage to it.
