Newbie here.. :)
Morning everyone!
So I decided to try the SBD, I'm very excited. I was doing WW. But I really don't like having to track my food intake every day and all that, plus I missed my meat, so here I am!! :dizzy: Ummmm, so I guess a little about me.. I'm from Ontario, Canada. I Work and go to College part time. I'm 24, single. Love music, travel, and long walks on the beach.. :p I started SBD just the other day, so I'm really new. Hopefully I will see better results with this then I did with WW. Danille |
Danille, Welcome!
I think you will love the freedom of SBD! There is so little to keep track of, although many people do, using a free program at www.fitday.com. Personally, that's just one more thing I have to worry about in my long days, so I just keep track of the few things that are regulated: number of starches (this varies per person on Phase 2), number of fruit (again, varies per person on Phase 2), whether I have had my serving of nuts, and how many cals of sweets I have had. I have figured out how many calories are in my favorite treats and how I can combine them to make the 75 cals we are allowed. Right now, I am on a Fudgsicle after dinner (40 cals) and a creamsicle (25 cals) or jell-o (10 cals) with a serving of Cool Whip Free (15 cals). I have another 10 to play with for things like SF gum or another jell-o, plain. Otherwise, I just make sure I am eating a serving size of my starch, fruit and cheese, and I am good! Hope you enjoy this WOE as much as I do! Welcome to the Beach! |
I use fitday occasionally, when I haven't lost any weight for awhile. Sometimes I find that I'm eating less then 1000 calories a day and that's why I'm not loosing.
Or more recently, I find that hey, you know those nuts...it's only supposed to be one serving a day not one serving of several each day :ink: a little peanut butter for breakfast, a small amount peanuts for a mid morning snack, 30 pistachios for mid afternoon snack ...hmmm, it adds up! And then I wonder why I haven't lost any weight this last month. :o |
Welcome, Danni. It's nice to see another Ontari-ari-arian here!
