Hi all...new here

Hi everyone...I am new to this forum and really excited to be here as it seems to be an exciting place!

I am am 30 years old, a full-time student, and mother of four (two are step-kids, but live with us). Life is obviously hectic :dizzy:

I have been on SB since Jan 28, and have been successfull. I have lost a toal of 40 pounds...I started at 230 and am down to 190. I have had a great experience with SB, no cravings, consistent loss, etc.

Although for the past couple of weeks I have been stalled. I think it's because the semster ended at school so I am off my normal eating routine. Being home all day (but still very busy) I find I am grazing (with SB foods) rather than sitting for a meal. I also have not been as active as usual, I jest cannot find the time to get my but to curves (which I totally love).

Anyway, I am glad to have found a place to share the ups and downs with others...I also love to cook and think it's great that there are so many recipes shared on this site.

Welcome, Imzadi, and welcome to The Beach. Care to share some of that wonderful Boston seafood with an inlander? Looking forward to getting to know you and some of your recipes.

Hi, Imzadi! Trek fan? Love the name...that was one of my favorite Trek books!

Congratulations on making it to ONEderland! :cheer:

Sounds like you have a good handle on why you are stalling. I did some grazing on OP foods yesterday night. Thankfully it didn't show up on the scale this morning. Hope that you can get back into a regular routine!

Welcome...this is a great, supportive forum!

Thanks for the warm welcome

You guys sure have made me feel welcome. Beachgal, I am actually not a Trek fan but my hunny is and that his nickname for me. The irony is that my real name is Deanna just like Counselor Troy, and I am studying to become a psychologist! Anway, eventhough I'm not into Star Trek I like the concept of Imzadi!

Imzadi, that *is* ironic! :) Sounds like you have a super wonderful mate! I like the concept too. :goodvibes:

Welcome!!! You have done amazing so far! Great job, keep it up. What a cute nickname your hunny has for you. I am not familiar with Star Trek but I *have* heard of counsellor Troy. Good luck on your studies as well :)
