Late afternoon greetings! I'm sending warm, splenda-sweet thoughts to everyone with sadness today. I'm convinced that life on the beach changes people for the better. My DH came home with two huge cartons of almost-new clothes from the local Army thrift shop -- he's gotten them from the manager for free to send to the hospital in Baghdad for our troops. When the come in wounded, they often don't have anything to put on once their wrecked uniforms are gone. In that heat, shorts and Ts are perfect to wear until they're shipped out. Another friend got a bunch of cosmetic samples for the nurses and female troops -- just a little pick-me-up in the desert :D And today, an old pal stopped to chat and said, "You're attitude sure has picked up." Of course, I'm sure it's because we've all stopped eating sugar-poison! :hun:
