Newbie with questions!
Hey ya'll. :) I just bought the book and plan on buying groceries tomorrow so I can start the diet the following day. I'm a little confused about the egg substitutes. I read in the book that real eggs are ok, so why do many of the recipes require egg substitutes? I've never purchased them before so I have no idea what I'm looking for. I'm not a breakfast person at all (I've never even had an omlette) so this is going to be an adventure for me. :) Also, is Kraft Free Ranch dressing okay? It only has two or three carbs and grams of sugar. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi lisa!
Well I'll tell you why I don't use real eggs I don't know if anyone else agrees or what but I use them because they are lower fat, and lower calorie and they last longer than real eggs which is a bonus cuz i don't eat a ton of eggs. You can find them in your grocers dairy case where they keep the eggs usually the substitutes will be on the top shelf and in cartons :) As to the ranch, I don't buy premade ranch dressing, I buy fat free sour cream and a packet of hidden valley ranch flavoring and you end up with only 25 calories per serving and 0 fat I don't know what Krafts pre-bottled contains but I like the way I make it just the same. :) I hope this helps! Great, I will look for the substitutes when I head out today. Thanks for your help! :)
