Hi, Chicks, just a question. I am on Phase Two and have had some Dreyers Vanilla, "No Sugar Added" ice cream. It's sweetened with a combination of sorbitol, Splenda, and acesulfame pottasium, has 100 cal. per 1/2 cup, and only 3 grams of fat. What I'm not sure about is the carbs--14 grams total, but it has 4 grams of fiber (I have no idea where fiber comes from in ice cream!), and 2 of the other carb grams are sugar alcohols, so, so-called "net carbs" would be 8.
I have had it as a dessert, in place of the ricotta cremes, and I'm sure it's a lot fewer calories, though more carbs. Whattaya think?
Jo
