having surgery on Thursday
 

Ladies, I'll be away from the board for a while cause I'm having some surgery this week. But I'll try to pop back in now and then once I'm able.

I'm worried about staying on plan. I will be at the mercy of DH for meals and his idea of cooking is to order a pizza. So I bought lots of lunchmeat, cheese, nuts, and veges to munch on during the day, but I'm afraid dinner time might do me in. Plus lying around with nothing to do is a trigger for boredom eating for me, so pray for me, ladies :)

I'm down about 13 pounds so I feel good, and even if I put a few back on from being so inactive after surgery I'm not gonna sweat it. I purposely went on SB to try to lose a few pounds before surgery so I have accomplished my temporary goal.

Congrats on reaching your temp goal. And good luck with the surgery!

I'll be thinking of you. Hope your recovery is good. Remember you need healthy food to recover from surgery, so don't be afraid to have extra protein.

Thanks guys :) And thanks for the tip about extra protein during recovery....I will be saying it to myself over and over again as I pig out on almonds :)

You can always send your DH out every couple of days with a short list of foods to pick up for you.
