Since the past two months I've done 8, but tried for 10, I'm going to try for 8. I want an achievable goal. I didn't lose a single pound all week. I felt like I've been good, but I have increased the exercise. My clothes are feeling good. I'm having to buy new stuff.............oh darn

I SEE MANY OF YOU WRITE YOU ARE ON THE BEACH DIET..CAN YOU JUST EXPLAIN WHAT IS THAT. I HAVE SOMETHING ALSO CALLED THE SOUTH BEACH BUT ITS ONLY A BUNCH OF WORKOUT TAPES, WHAT DO YOU GUYS ALL DO TO GET SUCH INCREDIBLE RESULTS AND HOW?? I SEE MANY OF YOU LOOSING 10LBS A MONTH... HOW DO YOU DO IT??
The diet everyone in this area is referring to is the South Beach Diet, created by Dr. Agatston. There are several books out. The first one, The South Beach Diet (it's turquoise) describes the diet and gives you menus and recipes. The second is a cookbook that also outlines the diet and updates it a bit. There is also a third book called "Good Fats, Good Carbs", which I have not yet read. You can find the first book and the cookbook at almost any store from bookstores to Wal*Mart. It is a wondeful program! I am sure others in here can explain this much better than I can, but the book is something you can pick up and start reading now.

I'm getting my butt back on the beach! What is with weekends, I eat the same and I stay as still as anything on that scale! Anyway, I WAS down 38 then cheated one day and I'm back up four pounds ( I cannot see how cheating one day causes me to gain so much, but oh well)...so 34 is great anyway, but I want MORE! Yeehaa to all you chickies! Keep up the great work!
