Well it looks like we all had a pretty good week-end as it is wrapping up. I had a good visit with my Mom. one of my sisters dropped by and had one of my lil Angels with her. Of course she wanted to go with me. I felt so loved! Went to see The Passion. WOW!!! I thought it was really good. Very thought provoking. But it was like I felt Mary's pain more than anything. I just cannot imagine how she must have felt knowing that one He was born to die for us and two watching it all happen. God knew what He was doing when He chose her. She is a Hero in my book. It was graphic but it really happened. Only the Bible said he was beat beyond recognition. In the movie I felt He was still recognizable. I think it does bring home the reality of just how bad it was. But I do not feel that it is near what some people make it out to be. I think maybe it is because this is a true story maybe they feel it is to graphic but it was graphic when it happened. I think of all the children that had first hand account of it. They were lined up and down the road that He had to travel and they beat Him all the way. All of this is just my take on it. I think everyone should see it and draw their own view. My kids want to see it and after watching it I will have no problem taking them. They are 12/14. If you go make sure you take some tissues. I know I did and used them. There is so much I could say about this movie but I would be here all night! I do think it is good to go with someone so you have someone to talk with about it afterwards. Oh today was communion Sunday at church and wow did I have a different take on that as well.
