New to the Beach

Just ordered my SB book and anxiously awaiting it. Hopefully will come in the mail soon.

Just a little about myself.

I live in Northern Ontario and have three lovely children ds(5), ds(5)&dd(4) and a wonderful husband. I work part-time at our local Curves (a getaway from the kids) I also do promotional stuff for them at home as well. (thank goodness for computers)

I think I have tried every diet there is known to mankind and have just stumbled across the SB one.

Only question I have, is it hard to follow? I am sure I will have more questions once I get the book and do some reading.

Looking forward to posting and chatting with everyone.

Welcome to The Beach, Sam. Boy, if you are in Northern Ontario, I'd better stop crabbing about out lousy winter down here.

The first two weeks on SBD are a bit restrictive but remember that you can have legumes when and if you get carb cravings. There is lots of information in the FAQ section of this Forum that will help you get started.

Welcome Sam! Man, Canada LOVES the South Beach!!!
I find the diet is fairly easy to do, it just requires planning and a teensy bit of will power. (Or as carol Burnett said in some movie, It's not the will power I lack, it's the won't power!)

Good luck!!!

Hi Sam  Welcome to the beach :sunny:
I have found this WOE to be the easiest to follow over a long period of time. Don't forget that it's also a very healthy way to eat. Planning is KEY
