New to SBD
Where to begin - I am a 43 yr old female. When I got on the scale in Sep 03 and saw 140.5 I knew it was time to do something. I am used to weighing about 105. I started my uphill weight gain about 6 months after I had my tubes tied 9 years ago. At 140.5 I weighed more than when I was 9 months pregnant. I followed the Herbal Life for a month then watched what I ate for the most part and by 20 Dec 03 was down to 122. With the Holidays and quitting smoking 1 Jan 04 I have now reached 130. My food binges with the non-smoking is pretty well done and my 2 lb bag of jelly beans is gone, so I'm ready to start. Was going to try Atkins but after ready about 20 pages of posts in here this morning at work, I think this allows a little more flexibility. Off for groceries this weekend and ready to start on Monday. Will be in here constantly getting ideas (meal idea posts - love them). Going south end of March so although my goal is 110-115 would be happy to get to 120 by then. Look forward to meeting you all and get inspiration from you all.
