Weekend Chat - Jan, 10 and 11

Will somebody please tell me why I wake at 4 a.m. when I've been in bed just since 11?

I was at rehearsal last night and was home by 10:10, cuddled The Girls, stoked the woodstove, had my Sleepytime tea and read a bit. But I was wide awake before 4!

It sure would be great if Kevin were to come and finish the closet this morning but I'm not holding my breath. Monday will be interesting when Gail is here to clean and he is here to mess it up!

Odds and ends of things to do today - including bringing in wood -but I know a wee nap will be in order this afternoon.

The coffee is on. What are your weekend plans?

Clove 01-10-2004 05:20 AM

Hi everyone
Well, I am off this morning to book my annual holiday - we are going to travel to USA. Very exciting! We are planning on flying in to San Francisco, and then going to Kings Canyon and Sequoia national parks, and to Yosemite too although I dont like crowds so we are avoiding the main bits of it. Then down to Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Monument Valley. We are wondering about Death Valley, but (correct me if I'm wrong) it's main selling point seems to be that it is very hot, and the clue is I suppose in the name, so we might avoid that. Then maybe drive back to San Francisco up the pacific highway?? that is just an idea. Anyway, all this is planned for September, and this morning I am off to sit in the travel agent for hours getting it booked up.

Other weekend plans involve watching the dvd of the second matrix film (christmas gift), and maybe some gardening - I have a lot of tidying type winter jobs I can get on with.

I am off now to look at the flavoured coffees available, to see if they are ok for SBD. I am nut intolerant so I cant have the hazel nut, but I was thinking vanilla coffee might be nice. Do you think it would work to flavour the coffee if you left a vanilla pod in the jar, like you do with caster sugar?

I'm doing ok with the eating plan - OK, its only been a week (umm five days actually), but I am full of steely resolve. I used to be 18 stone 9, and then got down to 16 7 with weight watchers, but stuck there. And up to 17 stone again over Christmas. I would like to be around 10 or 11 stone (that is about 150lbs for all you stoneless ladies). I think it is doable over 18 months or so. I am 37, so I really want to get back to my comfortable body size before I turn 40.

love
Clovey

Ruthxxx 01-10-2004 05:23 AM

Important! Please be sure to read the Sticky "You May Not Have Noticed But....... "

Ruthxxx 01-10-2004 05:25 AM

Good morning, Clove.

Just be sure those flavoured coffee don't have added sugar or fillers like powdered milk.
I sometimes put a drop of vanilla or almond extract into my coffee - it tastes great!

ellis 01-10-2004 08:28 AM

Good morning, all!

Clovey, your trip sounds wonderful. Except you're going to the wrong country! Why aren't you coming to Canada!? It's ummmm... -37C with the windchill right now in Ottawa.
The vanilla bean sounds like a good idea. Don't you grind your own coffee? You can get some good different flavoured beans...

Ruth, I went to bed just as you were getting up. DH rented "Pumping Iron" (god only knows why), and I got caught up watching Arnold. Weird. I NEVER watch TV, and rarely have the patience to sit through even a GOOD movie. I must be losin' it.

We're working on the apartment this weekend. It should be ready to rent for February, and we've got someone coming to look at it on Sunday. Yesterday I put together an amoire from IKEA (no closets in the bedrooms... old house) and a butcher block thingy on wheels. It's pretty cool... I want one for MY kitchen!

I'll try to get back in later...

Welcome again to all of the newbies, and Let's go, girls! It's 2004!! :lucky: :hat:

1busymomma 01-10-2004 11:38 AM

morning.........

woke up to kids screaming that we had bugs. Leftovers from yesterdays epidemic. I spotted them yesterday and for the life of me could not figure out where they were coming from.

Went to feed the hamsters, we keep their food in what I thought was an air tight container. something hatched in there and UGH, I spent hours vaccuming and spraying these nasty bugs. so GROSS!!!!

Ruth I read the time stamp post but mine has never been correct anyway lol so I just always go by the yellow lit up light on the main forum page. Hehe, I did not even know there was a way to fix it!

Clovey- I live in the states and I have never even been to any of those places! I could have once with my parents but the thought of a road trip was not pleasent so I chose to fly and stay and extra two weeks at the actual destination while they toodled around. Where was Disneyland on that list? Everyone goes there. LOL :)

Ellis- what is pumping iron? There are only a couple of Arnold movies I like Kindergarten Cop. Twins and True Lies. I have a really hard time sitting through the rest, No I am not into the terminator but I WILL be back!

Well, I stepped on the scale before bed last night big mistake. I mean BIG mistake. How disheartening should have waited till the morning and now I don't have the guts to step on it because even with added water weight last night I don't think i've lost a darn pound . And I have been OP with only 2 cheats since New Years, that's a record for me!!!

I'm going to try combining sbd and weight watchers so I pulled out all of my materials last night. Lets hope that I can make it w/out being hungry (which is what I disliked about ww in the first place).

O.k. well I want to get my latte made and the kiddo's fed. This weekend is nothing but packing boxes for me! :)

1busymomma 01-10-2004 11:40 AM

o.k. Ruth I usually post at the same time my stamp is says 3:38 pm and it is only 8:45 am here! When the upgrade goes in how do I change it?

It's always been messed up for me. :)

Jennifer 3FC 01-10-2004 11:57 AM

To change your time zone, go to User CP, and then go to Edit Options. There is a scrolling bar to choose your time zone. I think it will carry over the upgrade, I can't remember!

Ruthxxx 01-10-2004 01:06 PM

Let's just wait until after the upgrade. I am usually GMT-5 and could fix by going to User Options and changing to GMT-4. BUT I'd rather have a nap so will wait until Monday Morning and change then if need be.

Emily, it looks like yours was never set. When you decide to change it, you should be GMT-8 but wait until after the upgrade.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zz

Deets 01-10-2004 01:17 PM

Morning Beauties!

Actually, it is right before 12:00 noon! Just got back from my hour workout in the gym, and a 20 minute sauna for stretching exercises. Now I feel like a nap. :dz: Who was it that said this was supposed to speed up your metabolizm???:?:

Clove, your trip sounds like such fun! You have to try the great seafood in San Francisco. It is SO-o-o good!Sounds like you're doing really well on SBD.

Ellis, you sound like you're feeling better now. I've vbeen sending you good Vibes:goodvibes for a quick recovery from that pesky cough!

Ruth, I read that if you mess with your normal sleep pattern by going to bed at unusual hours, etc., you throw your body clock off! Sounds logical to me. Go to bed and get up at the same time for a while and see if it helps!:dizzy:

Was it Emily who said she got on the scale????? Well, I did too today!:sp: E----Gads!!!!!! I certainly was right in starting back on Phase 1 three days ago. I am up about 8 pounds from my goal now. That is doable if I stick with it!:jig:
ELLIS!!!!!! Yes, I am determined in 2004!:dancer:

This weekend I'm finishing putting away all small Christmas things. I also have to balance the checkbood:p , and then study for my Bible study lesson that I have to teach on Monday morning.

Hugs to all who have not checked in yet...Den, Sflake, Lizzie...who am I forgetting????? Love you all,
Sharon:wizard:
P.S. I decided to make the wizard
my motto until I can make these
pounds disappear!!

1busymomma 01-10-2004 01:29 PM

well I got the courage to get on the scale and it says that I am 190, 2 pds above my sbd start weight. How bleak and depressing. Blah.

Oh well, gonna be strong about combining the two plans along with my excercise to see where it gets me.

chazmom 01-10-2004 03:43 PM

I hope none of you mind me asking this, but......How long have you been on SBD and how much weight have you lost??

For those of you who are doing it with WW, do you feel that is better? Or at least do you think that SBD alone with no "real" limits and measuring allows you to overeat? and therefore combining with WW and staying within your point range helps? as long as you are eating SBD approved foods? I hope this makes sense......any thoughts are appreciated.

It is 2pm and I still haven't made it to the shower!! Being very lazy today. 7 yr old son had karate this morn, very early...he is training for his brown belt:sumo: He is very excited...mostly because as a brown belt, he then gets a very big stick to play with!! That will be fun!

Clove, can't remember if San Diego was on your sights to see list, but it is my husbands favorite place. He says it is just beautiful. I have never been, but he has several times for business.

Thinking about going to see Lord of the Rings later...don't know if I really want to sit in a theatre for 3 and half hours..but then again, this could be the last time I eat movie popcorn for awhile...might have to make the sacrifice!:D

Now both boys are yelling at the dog....heaven knows what he has eaten...he seems to crave Playmobil pieces!

Later ladies:)

ellis 01-10-2004 05:37 PM

Thank you, Sharon! :grouphug:
Okay, get this. Our furnace just broke down. I'm on the phone right now waiting for an appointment with the repair woman. Oh, lord. One of the coldest ruddy days of the year. And I KNOW they won't be able to come until at least tomorrow. The woman on the phone said they're backed up until the 13th, but she's trying to get me a sooner time. Oh, god.
I may be back.

1busymomma 01-10-2004 06:11 PM

Oh lordy, I hope you can get that fixed asap. ((((Ellis))))
Sending good vibes your way!

ellis 01-10-2004 06:14 PM

Thank you, sweet Emily!

frannymae 01-10-2004 09:19 PM

Aw nuts....broken furnaces, bad coughs, unfinished closets....will the mayhem never stop? Geesh, you guys are just courting disaster this week.

If I had my way we would ALL be tucked away in front of a roaring fire someplace cozy, hot drinks of choice (except none of that garlic/ginger brew for me, thanks!) in hand, doggage quietly settled at our feet....now wouldn't that be something? We could all swap stories and jokes...in PERSON! And just hibernate until Spring.

Well, I can dream, can't I? :grouphug:

I am slowly trying to get back to the Beach. All the Christmas goodies are finally gone, thank goodness! DH has been cooking Beach friendly meals for me, bless him. I still need to get back to exercising, and have had good intentions for over a week. But you know what they say about good intentions! Maybe tonight I will actually get on the treadmill at work on my lunch break and not just talk about it. Hmmmmm....could it be?

Has anyone heard from Marcie? I've IM'd her but no response. Hope all is well.

Okay Chickies, stay warm and work on getting healthy, ok?

little chick 01-10-2004 09:52 PM

Hey Chickies......it is 10:37 and I am just getting in here now. What a day. First I over slept and was running around like and idot to get to my dance class on time. 2 minutes before I was to start teaching we lost power.... makes for an intersesting dance class when you have no music.... finally it came back on. Got home had lunch and then found out our community center ran out of oil... had a booking for tonight for a little girls b'day party that had to be cancled. Then the pipes froze.... finally got oil and then we had to figure out how to bleed the stupid thing. Well we know have heat but the pipes or some are still frozen so the heat is on low we have to heat the building up slowing so the pipes don't split and then try to figure out what to do. Of course the President who knows everything is out of town till tomorrow night or monday morning....:yikes: Tell me I don't want a big ole chocolate anything. But I have made it through another OP day considering all the stress.:stress: :stress: The topper of course was when DH who started the beach with me on Monday has dropped about 6 to 8 pounds and I have only lost 2.:p So the day just keeps getting better and better. I think I really should go to bed and maybe it will be a better day tomorrow.

clove- not sure if I gave you a warm welcome to the beach. If not glad to meet you I am 36 so we are the same age. I am sure that you will love it here. :)

Ruthie- I hope you sleep longer tonight.

Ellis- I hope you don't freeze sweetie, and I hope you get your furnace fixed quickly.

1busymomma- hope you got all those bugs.

Deets- you go girl off to the gym I need to get my butt back on the treadmill. And a sauna sounds heavenly. I wish I had one right here right now. I am so tired of the cold.

Franny- can I please have a space by the fire with a glass of wine and a pair of fuzzy slippers my feet are freezing and I need a stress break.

Well girls have a great sleep. Sweet dreams and I will see you on the beach tomorrow if I have a moment to myself.

A big hello to anyone I might have missed.

Deets 01-10-2004 11:07 PM

Franny....

That space by the roaring fire sounds so nice. How about a cup of that Celestial Seasonings Madagascar Vanilla Red tea that Jennifer has. I must have some of that stuff! I haven't heard anything from Marcie since she wrote her beautiful anniversary poem. I do miss her, but realize that some of us need to move on.(I suppose:rolleyes: )
Franny, you were my exercise hero for such a long time, so now it's my turn to encourage you.......Get to movin' girl!!!!:drill: :dancer:

Ellis.....come to Franny's and I'll save you a space by the fire. I'll even throw in a warm fleece blanket! ;)

Littlechick.....pay no attention to your DH's quick weight loss. Men are just like that! You are doing great with the 2# loss yourself!:cp:
Night Chicksters...going to bed!:tired:
Sharon:wizard:

ellis 01-10-2004 11:57 PM

Our furnace is fixed!
It's still really cold in here, but PHEW! What a relief! I thought we were going to have to wait until Monday afternoon for a repair person! We DID have to shell out 300 bucks, but we can send the bill to our energy provider... they said they'd reimburse us if someone else fixed it because of the long wait for an appointment.

Little Chick, what a time you had... I'm so sorry! Yes, you'd best go to bed. Sleep it off. :grouphug: Things will be better in the morning.

Chaz, your 7 year old is training for his BROWN BELT!? Holy, petolies! That's amazing!

Come on, Emily! :drill: Let's get those 2 pounds back off, girl!

Franny, I don't know where Marcie is. :( We've been waiting for her to come back... I hope everything is okay.

Sharon, I wish we had a woodstove like Ruth. This crazy country! Congratulations on exercising! (yeah, it makes me pretty darned tired, too. )

I just ate a huge chunk of low-fat feta cheese. I just KNOW the scale will be up about 4 pounds tomorrow.

Rowan Bailey 01-11-2004 12:08 AM

Hi Everyone!
Please forgive me, it is tax time here in the states and it is my most busiest time. I have been checking in and keeping up to date, but very little time to post...

Ruth, wish that I was closer, I would love to see VM !!!

Clovey, I am also in the travel biz and live in California, I can really help you plan a trip, have some good ideas, PM me and let me know how long you will be here, your very close to Vegas, and the drive from Grand Canyon on Highway 40 is one of the most beautiful drives in America. It takes you right up to Boulder Highway, where you will pass Boulder Dam and then right into Vegas.......anyhow, if your interested just let me know.

Franny --glad to see you along with all the newbies.....

Hugs to all,

rb

Jennifer 3FC 01-11-2004 12:17 AM

I posted some recipes in the recipe section!

Ellis, glad you got your heat back on. Ours gave us the same scare a week ago. I thought we'd be sleeping at the Holiday Inn that night. We've got a gas fireplace, but it STINKS. I don't know what the smell is. Something in the liner, I guess.

chazmom 01-11-2004 12:32 AM

Ellis...glad to hear you are warming up:cool:

Yes, my son will get his brown belt soon. I really need to talk to the instructor on how long it takes to go from brown to black. I really don't want him to have that until he is at least 10? He is a good kid though, and would never dream of hitting anyone...with his little brother being an exception! He did come home today to tell me that he has to practice some "moves" on me to prepare...Yes, I am scared.

Took him to see LOTR tonight, had my :corn: Didn't eat that much considering I was in there for 4 hours!!! The movie was really good, except for the kid behind me who kept kicking my seat! I turned around and gave him the evil eye:s: , then him and his little buddy snickered for a good half an hour....

Going to finish the last 10 pages of SBD so I can get my list together and get my behind to the store in the morning.

Goodnight!

Ruthxxx 01-11-2004 06:07 AM

Oh my! Was I glad to read that Ellis has heat again! :) It really was one of the very coldest nights of the year. When it gets to a windchill of -41, it doesn't matter whether it's F or C! I even plugged in my darling car last night. (Did I mention it has heated seats?)

I'm hoping to get to Church this morning but it depends on when H. arises from his bed. He claims he isn't sleeping well these nights. However, he is zzzzzing away when time I check on him. I think he dreams he can't sleep!

Kevin didn't show yesterday but he did call. I sort of frittered away the day with a trip to the Library, some reading, studying lines and still have pieces of Christmas lying around the house. I have to finish that for sure this morning or Gail will give me gentle heck when she comes to clean tomorrow.

I did have a lovely long nap in the afternoon AFTER getting dinner ready to cook. I am usually very tired/stressed by evening and am trying hard to make the 6 to 9 part of the day more relaxed. This is the time of day when H's confusion is worse and I need all my patience.

The Doggage are woofing a wee bit - no terrorists this morning. I think they are saying they want to go out. I'll do my dog and stove duty, put on the coffee and the SAD light and start my day with a half hour of reading in the fake sunshine.

I hope we all have a super Sunday. As another wise chickie says, "It's a gift"!
:grouphug:

JensHere 01-11-2004 06:37 AM

Hi Ladies!

I have been lurking long enough! Time to reply and introduce myself to the group! :) I am Jeni from Indiana, mom to three pretty good kids (boy-15, girl-14, girl-6) and as any mom would be, very proud of them. I am married to my best friend, Kevin, my personal cheerleader! :D I work full time not only as a mother but as an addiction counselor as well. AND I just went back to school, so life is busy busy busy!

My weight history, up/down/up/up/up! I have battled with my weight all my life. November 2002, I weighed in at 317 lbs and I don't know if the light finally kicked on or what, but it was time to do something about it. I started going to a nutritionist December 2002 and from that time to July 2003, I took off 76 lbs, taking me to 240-241. From July to October, I played with 10-15 lbs, up and down, so I quit going to the nutritionist, it was wasting my time, her time and my money! In November I began SBD, starting weight was 250 and lost 17 lbs in 3 weeks, which was amazing to me! Then my gall bladder went nuts and the day after Thanksgiving I had it removed. Consequently from that point on through the holidays I was an eating machine, because nothing bothered me, pain wise. I knew I was picking up weight like a rock rolling down a mountain......faster and faster. So, on January 4, 2004, I stepped on the scales (242) and recommitted to SBD. Today is weigh in and in 7 days I have taken off 7 lbs. Down to 235. I am very pleased with SBD!

SBD has been simply amazing to me, very rarely am I hungry, seem pretty satisfied most times. When I am hungry between meals I make sure it's not out of boredom first!

I just wanted to say hello and finally come out of my shell! Support is such a gift.

To everyone on here, thanks for being here and hope you don't mind another beacher to your group!

Have a great day! :)

Jen

frannymae 01-11-2004 06:51 AM

Morning, chicks!

Just a wee quick post before I dash out the door for home. You would think the cold would keep all the criminals and idiots home, but that is just not the case. Busy Saturday night.

Welcome, Jen! I am from Ohio, so you are my neighbor, so to speak! You've done great so far, and I am sure you'll continue to succeed on the Beach! And who knows, an addiction counselor may just come in handy! LOL!

Cheers! :grouphug:

Ruthxxx 01-11-2004 08:17 AM

little chick 01-11-2004 08:17 AM

You have done great so far glad you have joined up pull up a piece of the sand lay out you towel and enjoy. Have a great day chickies.

JensHere 01-11-2004 08:18 AM

Thanks for the welcome! Will look forward to meeting all of you amongst the threads!

Have a great day!

GavinsMom 01-11-2004 08:35 AM

Good Morning!!! I'm really excited about being a part of all this, everyone is so friendly!!!

Just to introduce myself a bit: 32 yrs old, live in NC, 2 children ages 10 and 5, one husband, a sun conure, one american eskimo, a turtle and 2 fish. TMI? I have Type1 diabetes and have been on SBD since the beginning of December.

Last night we went to a football party at a friends house. Got to watch the Carolina Panthers win (wooohooo) AND I didnt eat any of the goodies they had prepared, just kept sipping my water w/ lemon. ;) After Church today, I'm going to practice "ramping" which I have to say I love it!!!! (New aerobic class here, just learning the moves.) Have a great day everyone!!!!!

ellis 01-11-2004 09:03 AM

Gavinsmom, we're glad you're here! Congratulations on sticking to your water at the party! :hat:

Welcome, Jen! Wow, you are doing GREAT, girl! I'm glad you've got a supportive husband. :grouphug:

Little Chick... phew! No busted pipes! Thank goodness for that!

Rowan, taxes! :yikes: Oh, lordy...

Ummm, Jennifer... I hope that's not GAS you smell! Maybe it was that dead body you tried to burn. Hey, thanks for the recipes... I'm going to check them out. They'd better be good. :D

Chaz, don't you just wanted to "reach out and touch" some of those little nasties at the theatres? We took the kids to a magic show before Christmas, and the kid AND the mother in front of me were bobbing around all OVER the place. I finally gave each of their seats a damned good kick, and they settled down. :D
Geez, I can just imagine you being flipped by a seven-year old.

Franny, are you addicted to something? :D Food, perhaps?

Ruthie, did you get to church? You haven't been able to get there for ages. (yes, as a matter of fact, I went to church just before Christmas. :D )
I'm sorry the evenings are rough for you. :grouphug: I'll say a wee prayer, shall I?

Hey, it's REALLY warm out there! Only -15C! :D And it's snowing. Supposed to go up to -5 today.
But damnit, I'm right out of coffee.
Back later... hugs to all... :grouphug:

little chick 01-11-2004 09:22 AM

Ellis lucky you it is still -33 with the windchill. But they are saying we are going to get a wee bit of snow tomorrow. I wish we would get two feet. DH and I got new downhill skis for christmas and I would love to be able to use them. We have hardly any snow.

ellis 01-11-2004 09:29 AM

Darling, don't wish for things you have no control over. You may get five feet.

little chick 01-11-2004 11:35 AM

I would love it. ;)

Ruthxxx 01-11-2004 11:38 AM

Geez, Ellis, are all the Maritimers nuts? Let's send her ours!

I'm off to rehearsal shortly, hoping to work in a bit of a shop beforehand. If I'm never back you will know I'm in a snowdrift on the 401 somewhere. (Shall I take along chocolate, just in case?)

1busymomma 01-11-2004 01:53 PM

o.k. this is the third time I have started this post and had to walk away to take care of something!

well combining both plans yesterday went well. I did go over by 5 pts on the ww end of it, but I know where I need to make adjustments so that I don't do that again. I woke up this morning feeling better and more energized. So, I think this will go well.

Oh, joy someone needs me again. These days I need to make an appt just to go to the bathroom!

Gonna spend the rest of the day packing.... Will check in and chat later.

Ellis, glad your furnace got fixed!

Jennifer 3FC 01-11-2004 01:53 PM

Chazmom, what form of Karate is your son in? Mine takes TaeKwonDo, and he is an advanced brown belt. It takes about a year to go from Brown to Black, I think. Don't worry about him being a black belt too soon. If he shows irresponsibility, his instructor will take his belt. And if he doesn't understand and demonstrate the self control, he won't be able to graduate to the next belt. At least it is that way in TKD, as the principle is defense. Aren't they cute with their little screams and Hi-yahs?? :)

Ellis, I'll find a special recipe for you.
PS, we put the carbon monoxide detector in the living room, but it didn't even register a thing, so it must BE that body. I'd better do some quick cleaning!

Ruth, I'd definitely bring choccy. And a beeswax candle. Those things are supposed to be warm enough to heat the inside of a car, it's a survivalist thing. And if not necessary, you can always make Survival S'mores!

I had a miraculous loss, then I gained. I hate when that happens.
I'm sure when Uncle Sam kicks in, we'll go back down!

chazmom 01-11-2004 02:17 PM

Jennifer - He is in Tae Kwon Do, a year to go to black...hmmmm...I was thinking if it was going to be sooner than I was comfortable with that I might slow it down by only taking him to class 1 night a week instead of 2. I am not so afraid of him with a black belt as I am him testing for a black belt. It is brutal! We have been to 2 black belt testings and I have cried both times! Those poor little kids out there, they were just breaking my heart...

1busymomma - is this the first time you did a ww combo with SBD? I think a couple of people on here are doing both, but their names are in a thread that crashed.

Welcome to the new chicks!! I also want to be fit by 40!!! I have almost 2 yrs to go!!!

I never did an intro....Here it is....Turned 38 in October, I have 2 boys, 7 and 4. My 10 yr anniversary was this past Christmas. I had DH take me to Vegas right before Thanksgiving for my anniversary present, since that is where we got married:D This was the first time I had ever been away from the children, and I have to admit...IT WAS FUN! I live in a suburb outside of Dallas, Tx and I have always lived around Dallas, couldn't imagine living anywhere else...especially with all this talk of cold weather...brrrr...I am also a Stay at Home Mom, have been since Charlie was born. We have a 1 yr old Corgi, named Dexter...I think I am allergic to him, but I guess I will just have to suffer!

Being fit by 40 has been my quest for a year and a half. I think I am doing alright and I do think I can achieve it. Wait......I KNOW I can achieve it.

I had 3 mos slow down in 2003, but I am ready to move full speed ahead. I know with the help and support from these message boards, anyone can do it.

I have great fun reading the posts and now (you all may be sorry), but I am going to join in too! :D

I have until September 25 of this year to hit my goal if I am going to be fit by 40........but you know what, even if I am 10lbs off from my goal, I will be satisfied.

Chazmom- Yes this is my first time combining the two plans and so far I am loving it, it works better for me in terms of feeling better and having more energy. I woke up this a.m. feeling awesome!

I think when I am told I don't have to count I tend to overindulge.....so this may be the trick to making this WOE work for me. :)
