End of 9th day of phase I
Well - I'll be 10 days into it tomorrow! Today and yesterday were so much easier than any other days. I haven't been cheating at all. I've lost 4 lbs so far. I can't wait until I get my period and lose some water weight - I just know that I'm retaining and in a few days I should lose another 1-2 lbs!
Tomorrow and Sunday will be difficult because I'll be at work. I work out of town, so I won't be home until Monday. Kind of hard to eat on the run, but I packed celery sticks, humus, a little peanut butter, some low fat spreadable cheese, mozzarella sticks, low-fat lunch meat, pickles, beans, and some lean Korean pork. Oh - and some of that yummy ricotta cheese dessert. So - with all that food, I won't have any excuse to cheat! Do I really have to quit phase I in 5 days? I'd like to wait until I've lost the promised 8 lbs! |
Congratulations, Stacey! :hat:
But you're confusing me. I could have sworn Phase I is a two week ordeal... Oh, lordy... I'm not awake yet... I GET IT! No, you don't have to stop. Stay on it for another week if you like. The theory is that people will grow bored with the limitations of Phase I and start to cheat, but if you can keep at it, go for it! |
With a plan like that how could you cheat?
Good for you. Kepp up the positive attitude. Marcie |
You're off to a great start Stacey! It sounds like you have a great plan for eating away from home....that's the first big step on your way to success! Good for you!
Like ellis said, you can stick with phase 1 for a little longer if you want to. I know a lot of people do that. But don't be afraid to start easing your way into phase 2 when the time comes, just take it slow and add one carb at a time. Keep up the good work!! :cp: |
