hi crystal

due to the staggering number of spammers that visit this (and i would presume every other weight-loss forum) people tend to NOT reply to individual threads but relate to each other in a group. there are a few active groups and i am sure you would be welcomed with open arms. i am one of very few that keep an individual thread going ... in the 4 months that i have been doing it i have, if i remember correctly, 1 reply from a real person. i have no problem with that, i find it helps me to look back and see where i came from.

Right now there doesn't seem to be many here doing South Beach Diet but here are links to some active groups. These folks are doing all different diet plans but get together and discuss their progress. They are always welcoming new posters. Head on over and join in!
