Good morning!
Rabbit rabbit rabbit!
Sorry I’ve been missing days around here! It’s been busy! We are up early to go into the laundromat before it opens at six. We did the same yesterday morning. Right now we are working on finetooth cleaning behind the dryers. It’s an area you don’t want to be in when people start using them. We will come home for a while then I go back down at 9:30 to give our seller the big check. Then I will try to get some time off my feet today before we have a birthday dinner at our house. Today is the girlfriend’s birthday that helps with all the projects. She will be 74 today and is a true inspiration. We are having roast chicken, veggies and mashed butternut squash. I did get a tiny cake at whole foods which is just enough for four people.
Have a great day everyone! Got to keep moving. LOL

Good morning,
Starting out March with rain here. I am getting ready to head into work, tonight DD2 has a pop concert. Super busy at work but that's okay I like busy, makes the time go by quicker.
Jekel I got up on some shows last evening but was not riding a bike while doing lol
Beth I hear you, I feel like I have been gaining and losing the same 10 lbs for a while, so time to move past that
Debbie I am sure your laundromat is going to be squeaky clean once you are done with. Enjoy the bd dinner.
Have a great day everyone!

Fat White Rabbits! Happy March and good morning! Thanks so much for the support regarding my sister and my lb. I'm back to where I was Monday, now I need to lose! And, I agree, undoing gain has to count - it's all part of this journey to our goals.
I know what you mean about seeing the sun. I have an interior office. It has a window out to the hall so I'm dependent on the people on the other side of the hall keeping their doors open so I can out their windows. They usually don't. I try to walk down to the lobby a few times a day to see the sun and get out of my chair.
Today is still warm and dry but I'm not looking forward to tomorrow. We will either get a LOT of rain, or a LOT of wintry mix. Fingers crossed for the rain.
Have a great day!

Good evening, chicks.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the sun today; I even took my walk outside after work. Tonight there is a storm coming but it looks like it will mostly miss us to the south, which is fine by me. I can put up with 2-3 inches of snow. I can't believe how fast the week has flown by; tomorrow is already Friday.
Food is mostly good, although I had a little indulgence last night for my un-birthday. I just bought a single cupcake at the store since DH and I were not going to eat a whole cake.
Debbie, your dinner sounds delicious. I made pork roast in the crock pot today and had baked beans. I must say it was tasty. Enjoy your company.
Pearlrose, sounds like your week flew by like mine!
Kathy, I hope you just get rain; you are probably ready for spring like the rest of us.
See you tomorrow.

Good morning,
Finally another wfh day, I really miss them. I got a good nights sleep last night to make up for very poor sleep the night before. The concert was really good, both the chorus and band put on good performances. Tonight DH and I are going to see Lorde in concert, not too excited about this one.
Kathy hope you only got rain
Beth should we be saying a belated birthday to you? If so Happy Birthday
Have a great day everyone!

And suddenly it's Friday! Been a really wild (non-fun) week and the weekend will be worse with community breakfast tomorrow, Church followed by a "lunch" and then a long annual meeting. (A longtime parishioner died yesterday and has asked that Bruce conduct her funeral and burial on Monday. Sure hope the weather cooperates because clerical robes are not exactly cozy in a freezing wind.)
However, despite it all, we are still on track for departure for Florida two weeks from Monday. Passports, money and packing lists done - we even got the GPS updated at last. I am an excellent navigator by map but B. has no sense of direction and can get lost very easily. He just came back from the barn (didn't get lost!) and says we need to fill the bird feeders because snow is expected. (Methinks he's just stalling before figuring out Edith's funeral service.)
Weight is stuck still at 176 so no tracker change. Hope you all are doing well and that the weekend is manageable. (Does anyone lose over a weekend? )

Happy Friday, everyone! Ruth, I'm sorry to hear about the longtime parishioner. I hope the weather cooperates! If it doesn't, keep Florida in mind. I got back from Key West just before joining here and it was beautiful.
As of last night, we were just supposed to get rain and high winds so I was just worried about power outages. But now they are saying the temperature will drop this afternoon so there is a greater possibility of ice and snow. I'm keeping an eye on it and may have to leave work early.
I'm still the same weight I was last Friday so I guess Phase 2 hasn't been great for me. Not that I added much in. Honestly, I can't be eating too much so it may be my metabolism slowing down. I have to do better with the exercise. Fingers crossed for a better week next week.
Happy weekend!

Good evening, chicks.
Normal workday here and I was good and exercised afterwards. The scale took a small movement in the correct direction this morning; I had been holding steady this week so the half pound drop was nice. But, as Ruth says, does anyone lose on the weekend??
Pearlrose, I'm a bit of a novelty wherever I go since I'm a Leap Year baby. So you are either 2 days late or 2 years early for wishing me happy birthday. lol Glad the school concert was a good one; I miss the days when my boys were little and having school concerts.
Ruth, the week really flew by for me too! Did you end up with snow? We only got a couple of inches but it's bad just south of us. I am quite impressed you updated your GPS; I could never get mine updated.
Kathy, weight loss is not linear; keep OP and I'm sure you will see a drop soon. Exercise may help also. Just think how far you have come already.
It's Friday night so I think I will find the book I started last weekend and relax.

Just a quick wave hello. Will catch up with personals later. The deluge of snow and rain did a number here. When you go without power for almost 7 hours you come home to a flooded basement. Fortunately everything is up high enough off the floor already. The sump pumps just can’t move the volume of water quick enough. I will be ordering a gas powered pump online (no one locally has them in stock) and just pray the sump pumps don’t fail.

Good morning,
Woke up to a beautiful sunny day, I was able to sleep in as well so win win. The opening acts for the concert were not good, one was an alternative rap band and thought I was going to go deaf during that one, we stayed for a few songs of Lorde and then left home by 10:15 p.m. Today's agenda is going to be working on basement project, cleaning and waterproofing the walls again and cleaning out clutter as I go, I think this project will go on for a while. I also need to make a grocery run and go to the mall to return a pair of pants for DD2 and see if we can find her a pair she likes.
Jekel so sorry to hear that you are having to deal with a flooded basement, hope your sump pumps don't fail.
Kathy I have found the trend to be that most people don't lose weight the first week they transition to Phase 2, I know personally for myself I have to stay at Phase 1.5 in order to lose weight. (That is phase we call in between, you don't add as much grains and fruits as allowed in Phase 2, just what works for you)
Beth that is cool that you are leap year baby. Glad the scale went down for you, for me it went up but I know it was the girl scout cookies that did me in, back to Phase 1 for me today.
Ruth glad you are getting everything ready to go, glad Bruce has you for navigation lol
Debbie hope everything is going well.
Have a great day everyone

Hey chicks, a quick check in here. Slept in a bit (not hard to do when normal wake up is 5:45 am!) but now have the first load of laundry done and breakfast cleaned up. DH and I will go for a walk soon since the sun is breaking through. After that it is vacuuming and such, normal weekend niggles.
Jennifer, good luck with the sump pump. Our last house had serious water issues; so glad this one doesn't.
Pearlrose, I wish I could get DH on board with cleaning out clutter. He is a "we may need it someday" kind of guy.
Have a good day, everyone!

Hi everyone!
Jennifer, so sorry to hear of your water woes. I hope is resolved soon!
Rose, too bad the concert wasn’t better!
Kathy, so many non scale reasons to stay the course! Keep the faith!
Beth, my hubby doesn’t think he saves stuff but he does!
Me, long day yesterday. After work tenant had an issue which we patched. Told her to wait until noon today before running water in the tub. She hasn’t contacted me so must be ok. Simultaneously a washer leaking at the Mat. DH and I took it apart this afternoon after restaurant and couldn’t fix. Put out of service sign back on and will go to Glenwood after work tomorrow anyway. Lol
Birthday dinner with sis for hubby tonight. I baked a pecan pie using part agave. Forgot the butter. Leftovers from dinner the other night.
I may not get here tomorrow so happy Sunday!
