Question??
I have been following somewhat of a lowfat diet for a few months now (not too rigid). I have not had any soft drinks for about 4 months and already drink tons of water so I am already a few steps into the SBD. Do you think I will see the weight reduction in the first two weeks as is talked about in the book. I know everyone is different. I also know that typically on a new diet plan you are ridding your body of alot of water at first. Just wondering....any thoughts?

Hi!!
I think it's great that you already are drinking your water and not used to soft drinks on a regular basis. That's great! Each one of us is different, and don't get me wrong, we are all here to lose weight...however, firstly we need to think of making ourselves healthier for life. I love this WOE because it makes sense to me. I know that if I continue to follow the plan, I will be a lot healthier than I ever was in the past. Now on to the nitty gritty. The first week I lost 4 pounds. I have decided to only weigh on a weekly basis, so I don't know what this second week will be until Saturday. I do know that my clothes are getting much looser, and that is a good sign. I think that the more a person needs to lose, is sometimes an indicator as to how much you take off initially. I hope this information helps. Sharon :flow2: :flow2: :flow2: |
Funny... could have sworn I responded to this. I hope I didn't put it somewhere else...
workinprogress, you'll notice a change from cutting out the breads, pasta, the "wrong veg", etc. I've always eaten low-fat, too, but this diet has made a big difference for me. |
Thanks ladies...this has got to be the friendliest thread going!
