Newbie on the Beach

  • Hey All!

    Just wanted to say hi and that I think I'm going to like this way of eating. I'm on day 7 of Phase I and am doing okay. I've been enjoying this plan and think I can actually stick with it. I haven't cheated at all, which is amazing! lol

    Anyway, THANK YOU for all the recipes! I love to cook and am happy to have found some things that my hubby will eat too. And these will be good for him as well since he is diabetic and NEEDS to watch his carbs.

    Hope to be posting more soon - especially some of my own concoctions! lol

  • Welcome, Mika! Isn't this a great eating plan? I am Type II diabetic and have found that this is the only way to go. Even my Doc is convinced!
    Be sure to psot on the Daily as well as asking any and all question as standalone threads.

    Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome! I'm through Week One in Phase I and I've lost 5 lbs so far! Yea!

    And my hubby is a Type II diabetic also and I'm hoping that even though he's not doing this with me, my cooking for him will help him out!

    I will definitely go explore the other forums here as well as time permits!

    Recipes will hopefully be coming soon!

  • I am also new to the beach. I just started today and so far so good. I am just having a problem with calories. I have hardly had any, only 352 for the day, and that is breakfast, lunch and a snack. Any ideas?
