Good Morning!

Thought I'd get us started while coffee is brewing! I'm up but barely....

Yesterday turned into a long day. The friend in Denver wanted Laurie to come down and spend the night so we ventured down about 4:30. A stop at the Verizon store then waited for my friend to come on the train. She finally arrived and had told me she'd booked a hotel nearby. It wasn't nearby it was a 25 minute drive. She kept saying they'd just get back on the train and find a bus which wasn't safe or practical at 8pm so I drove them. It was way too late when I got home.

Today I work early then will nap for a bit. Laurie will come back up this way by bus and I just have a short drive to pick her up. I guess :shrug: I will have the car packed and we'll head back over the hill tonight. She has chemotherapy tomorrow.

The tenant saga continues. He was fixing the other tenants car yesterday and said he'd have cash. It didn't get finished and I didn't get money. There's not much I can do anyway today..

This too, shall pass. This is temporary.

Still looking forward to Spring with all this fine weather but that will change, too.

Good Tuesday morning, Debbie and chicks to follow. Debbie, you sure do a lot of driving and most of it is probably vertical. ;) I hope that tenant gets his $$$ together today and stops giving you the runaround.

Yesterday was an easy day. I started several jobs - tidying and sorting things - and the house looks messy with stuff lying around. Today I will pitch and store or donate. I have a huge bag of yarn and knitting needles to be donated to a worthy cause plus a lot of orphaned electronic bits and pieces to go to recycle.

We were supposed to have freezing rain overnight but it didn't happen. My car was outside overnight so I'm pleased. It sure has been an easy winter and I'm glad I did not decide to go away.

Good morning, chicks. I have time to sip my coffee leisurely this morning; there is freezing rain so school is on a delay. It is supposed to warm up so I don't think we will close.

Made it through work yesterday but then came home and lounged on the couch until it was time to make supper. This cold is really knocking me down. Oh well, you do what you have to do.

Jennifer, glad you were able to get your snow cleaned up. Out on Long Island, DS2 had his morning college classes cancelled.
Cyndi, my mornings always disappear, especially in the winter. I have an easier time getting up in the when it starts getting light earlier
Debbie, you are a good friend supporting Laurie. Hope you can fit in a nap today.

I guess I need to move. My lunch is packed but I need to shower and dress. Have a good day, chicks!

Beth glad they delayed school if the roads are icy. Enjoy your coffee.

Debbie I can't say this enough, you are truly a great friend. Keeping my fingers crossed the tenant pays today.

Ruth doesn't it feel good to donate and pitch unused although well intentioned items.

Today is haircut day, dinner with DS and traffic court for him too. As he was leaving for work DS sprung on me he has the opportunity to move into a house with his friends. I'm not going to stress over this. He is going to do what he wants. Sigh. I just worry if he does, he won't be returning to school. Plus I don't know how he will survive in life at minimum wage. I am going to tell him if he decides to leave my health insurance cancels for him.

Well the dogs are looking to go out so off I go. Have a great day everyone.

Been a busy morning already, it is a gray day outside, I did not want to get up. I need to get my behind in gear and start tearing up the carpet in DD1 room but I think i will have decided to wait until PT is finished. My re eval is tomorrow. Hip and leg are doing good, it just seems to have shifted to lower back now.

Debbie that was nice of you to drive your friends to their hotel room. Hope the tenant pays today

Ruth I have a ton of bags to go through to see what needs to be donated and what will stay for a garage sale (no clothes). I only have a few things to go through in DD2 room but the basement is full of them.

Beth glad you are on a delay hope you made it safe to work

Jekel enjoy your haircut today. It's hard letting them make their own decisions that is for sure.
