I cannot compete with my 12 degree weather here but it still brrrr keep warm all of you eastern chickies.

I think I overdid the standing on my ankle yesterday, we went to lunch and had an over hour wait to get in, should have followed instincts and left lol. Hubby wants to go to PBR today but I am thinking I am going to bow out and just stay home and try to keep off my ankle as much as possible.

I still have tomorrow that I took off so my days are all kinds of messed up to me lol.

Morning all! Just popping in to say a quick hello. Things are crazy at the new job so I don't get online much during the week- I come home and pass out. Hope everyone is doing well and staying warm! :wave:

:coffee2: Good morning. Snow, snow, snow, cold. I think I will make garden plans today. I've had two mornings in a row of elaborate breakfasts made for me. Very nice :) Today will be chores, careful snow clearing, maybe some resume clean-up, and an afternoon movie.

Ugh for high efficiency furnaces. We had a furnace for 25 years that rattled and shock but never broke once. This one which was a present from gas company when dh retired and wasnt a cheap one has broken three times in 10 years. Today of all days with temps at record lows. Service man came this morning and cleaned some sensors but is back again. Dhs birthday dinner was cancelled and I was under the duvet today reading and watching tv. Will watch british bakeoff show and downton abbey in bed. Taking up a glass of wine.
