Food Log - Week of August 3
SBD Phase II - carefully this time!
B. Scrambled eggs with peppers and mushrooms V8 L. Tuna salad on lettuce cucumbers and tomatoes with feta dressing ff/sf yoghurt (today's carb) D. Crockpot boiled ham green beans fried zucchini ricotta creme snacks - celery and Laughing Cow Cheese As much water as I can glug! |
Monday so far:
- 2 coffees w/skim milk |
Monday 8-4-03
B: V8, Coffee, Water, String Cheese S: Green Tea, string cheese L: Salad with grilled chicken, water D: Steak & broc., diet soda S: sf pop, water I will stick to this as I have to make up for this past weekend! |
Before breakfast, one ounce of chicken, white meat. I have to eat a bit of something before taking my meds and I'm not hungry enough for breakfast.
Breakfast-egg biscuit and two turkey sausage patties Lunch-salad with sliced chicken breast and vinegar/olive oil dressing Dinner- Phase 1 meatloaf, cooked cabbage and sauted mushrooms If I want snacks I have pistachio nuts, string cheese, low fat ham, tomatoes, cottage cheese or tomato juice. |
B.2 eggs w/1 slice of 2% american ch., 1 slice of turkey bacon, V8 juice

Lunch: Grilled steak with salad, green peppers, onions, and no-sugar, no-carb bleu cheese dressing Snack: sugar-free jello, 1 string cheese Dinner: Boiled ham and cabbage in crockpot Snack: 30 almonds (couldn't help myself) Nikki |

B: Ham & cheese omelet L: tomatoe basil wrap w/hummus, black olives, tomatoes, lettuce and some reduced fat cheese D: Mushroom omelet (bad planning ... forgot to take out anything to cook and the "others" in my house had grilled ham sandwiches ... just started Phase II and didn't want more bread!!! S: fat free nsa fudgesicle |
Going grocery shopping today. There is nothing edible in the house, and I'm NOT doing well!

Breakfast: coffee w/ skim milk Low Carb Shake Lunch: Turkey Sandwich Tomato Juice Dinner: Grilled Chicken Salad For snacks I will grab a hand full of nuts if I feel as though I shall die from hunger *swoon* |
Since my DH is gone for today, I have been grazing-a little here, a little there. here is what I ate today
TUESDAY: a serving of Phase 1 meatloaf 3 slices of turkey bacon 5 pistachio nuts 1/2C low fat cottage cheese string cheese a grilled patty of ground turkey a tomato a large serving of steamed cauliflower 2 quarts of water and 2 cans of diet Pepsi (I met my DD at the local watering-hole this afternoon) |

Tuesday: B: egg/mushroom omelet S: green apple/piece of string cheese L: Chicken breast w/sauted spinach and onion S: Light & Lively cottage cheese D: Chicken breast w/almonds (too lazy to make any veggies) As Ruth said, into Phase II carefully ... |

Wednesday started out well:
B. 2 egg omelet/ one slice Canadian bacon, diced, mushrooms and a bit of cheese L. Grilled turkey patty, string cheese and about 12 peapods Dinner was a disaster. I made Italian chicken breasts from a recipe and I HATED it. DH liked it. I made a pizza. He poured out a couple of beers for himself and I had two Black Russians:dizzy: . I only ate the toppings of the pizza though and gave the crusts to the outside cats. |
Tuesday 8-5-03 I am posting after the fact when I do it before I never stick to it.
