Does anyone know if we are allowed to have alligator meat on the South Beach Diet? I started the diet a month ago per my doctor for Diabetes and I love gator bites....Please help....:?::^:

It's not on the list but probably is equivalent to lean beef.

Yep, alligator should be fine, but the bites are typically breaded or floured and fried which is a no-go.
