Good morning. Jazz and I had coffee outside this morning and watched a beautiful sunrise. It's always better with a few clouds.
I'll be "on the road" this morning picking up schoolwork at the far end of the Township. The schools just closed yesterday and I usually give the staff a few days to get it organized. However, this school has a construction crew starting Monday morning so ... It'll be a pleasant drive and the holiday traffic won't start until this afternoon - not that we get huge masses of traffic here in the boonies!

So - another coffee, the news and then I'm off. It's going to be sunny and hot Canada Day weekend. Summer's here!

It's going to be a gorgeous day here, and I know my niece is thankful since her wedding and reception are being held outdoors this evening. We won't have to worry about a sudden rainstorm, thank goodness. Tomorrow, my brother is hosting a BBQ so everyone can watch the bride and groom open their wedding presents before going off on their honeymoon.

And I'm especially excited that I'll get to see my granddaughter that I haven't seen until Christmas and catch up on all the news with her, since everyone is coming back here to spend the night tonight. It's going to be a fun next couple of days!

Good morning, chicks! I am sipping my smoothie and enjoying my first full day of summer vacation. Of course, DS1 and 2 still got up at 5:30 and left in a flurry but since they are both employed I will not complain. It's quiet now.

We head back home today. We've had a wonderful family visit!

We're meetings sis in 5 min for one last swim in the ocean. Food hasn't been too bad but we've sure missed our smoothies....and our pup.

I'm off to the gym. Then I work this afternoon. I'm hoping to hear back from the hip specialist about my MRI results today so I don't have to wait until after the weekend. I got more extended family tree information from my dad's biological cousins so will spend time today (and into the weekend) updating my online tree.

I am home! I'm sitting on the front porch with Bing. It's a cool Friday night hear about's 55°. I need a comprehensive food plan for the next week and stopped at whole foods on the way in. I.e. pretty darn good this week considering and am committed to bringing the scale down a little bit more this summer. Tomorrow I kick right back into high gear. I have one day to get the little rental ready and the new tenants move in on Monday. I work at the restaurant Sunday Monday Tuesday then we'll head over the hill to take care of the yard, medical appointments, and all get a little soak in the hot springs, too. It was a really nice week but it's quite good to get back into a routine. I'll see you all tomorrow.
