Evening ladies. Busy day today but in a good way: work (ok, that was the not so good part) but then a workout and some spading in the garden with DH!! Finally, we have real spring! Now I'm just waiting for dinner to finish.
Tammy, the pictures are great! Debbie, I remember snow once on Mother's Day, but it sure wasn't 14 inches!! I think I would be in full whine mode. Ruth, Xan and Cottage, hope you had productive days. Jenne, hope the treatments help. Pearl, good luck studying. On the morning news there was a mention of a cycling group en route to DC that had to be Jennifer. Hope the day was smooth for her. The dryer is buzzing so I need to get a move on. Have a great evening, chicks. |
I made it in before the end of the day! It's amazing, our Lead gave us 5 bonus "office: days, basically days off, and I've been so busy that by the time i hit the computer I'm too tired to post anything. I'm catching up now. The good news is we painted 2/3 of our house (outside) and I've got the gardens started. For some reason I decided that not only would I put in 4 3 x 6' vegetable beds and a squash area with trellis, I also added a kitchen herb garden, a cleaned up perennial bed, a rhubarb patch, and a butterfly/hummingbird garden. I managed to resist the blueberry and fruit patch this year but I think we will be in constant motion until we've turned the lawn into edible landscape with paths.
Tammy - love the pictures :) Jenn - The immune suppressants are a real challenge and can turn simple things into complex ones. Hope the infusions give you the results you are looking for. Tonight I learned that I can grill a whole chicken. Little cooking firsts always make me happy :) Now to bed so I can make the most of my last free day off :) |
