My day went surprisingly well....I had to run to the mall on my break and it's about 10 minutes away so I walked!! What!?! lol....It was beautiful...snowy and white.... Then came lunch and I ate lots of salad and some turkey...the only thing I splurged on was some gravy....so not too bad.... When desert came out I got up and helped the food and beverage staff clear tables....kept me busy and distracted....which in this case was a good thing (I didn't even eat my jello - I was so full) :D After work I went to the gym and did some time on the treadmill - I used to be a runner and I have been trying to build my stamina again but so far I had only been able to run 5 minutes and then walk for two and then run again....well today I ran for 15 minutes straight!!! Again....what!?!

So for today my menu ended up looking like this;

Breakfast - Fiber One cereal and 2 turkey and cheese roll-ups
Lunch - Turkey, salad and gravy
Dinner - hamburger patty with a greek salad
Snacks - hard-boiled egg with hot sauce and 2 PB cookies with a glass of milk

I hope you are all having a great Wednesday!!

Gotta run and take my quiche out of the oven....Samm :D

Me too! I have to get back to that state of mind of not having even "one"...

YES! When I am doing best, that the the attitude I have as well.

Thanks for all the info, Emma! I will definitely try these on the weekend. I love cauliflower everything- mashed, roasted, etc. I suspect I will love these as well! My hubby will laugh- he knows I'm addicted to cauliflower :D

You are quite welcome. I read a lot of food blogs (actually I don't read any regularly but I do a lot of research on recipes) and I came across the idea of sneaking mashed cauliflower into sweet things. I think I also saw this idea in the Ideal Protein threads here at 3fc; they often have ideas incorporating more veggies into things, and many of their recipes are compatible with SBD.

That sounded like a GREAT day! :)

Me - a bit off plan yesterday. Too busy, then found myself starving at a catered event. One small piece of plain :jeno: and a giant serving of salad (unfortunately already dressed), diet soda. Meh.

Today, Phase 2
B - Coffee with us coconut milk, then black tea with us coconut milk. Lentil soup on a bed of spinach, 1 fried egg.
L - Spaghetti Squash Deep Dish Pie (why do spaghetti squashes have to be SO BIG? I froze half of mine, make the SSDD pie with the rest and I have been eating it for a week...).
S - broccoli/pepper strips with roasted garlic hummus. Maybe some green tea - need caffeine :yikes: today
D - not sure. Will involve a big green salad.
dessert - Greek yogurt

Phase 2

B - coffee with us coconut milk.
Walking/yoga
Brunch - lentils on a bed of steamed spinach with two fried eggs on top. Goji Lemon Tea but with no maple syrup.
S - broccoli/pepper slices with roasted garlic hummus
D - not sure... made split pea soup for the family, which turned out delicious, but I was thinking I wanted something like a BIG salad with protein. I need to clear out my freezer of the crazy amount of veggie protein products I have stockpiled.
Dessert - Greek yogurt with Torani sf chocolate syrup and maybe a dollop of peanut or almond butter.
