Good morning early weekend risers :coffee2: I've been up since 5:30 but am just becoming verbal after my part of the pot of coffee. Today is all chores, cooking,and lots and lots of fall organizing. I've got cool weather clothes to get out, pantry space that is full and very disorganized, and an exercise room that's been used as storage all summer :eek: Oh, and then there's all the tomatoes, peppers, and apples just waiting for me to process. I may need to use a couple of those extra vacation days just to get the house set for the impending season I shall not name.

First, I'll finish this coffee and have some breakfast while the towels finish washing.

Today looks like it might be a little nicer weather-wise: the high will still be low 40's but the precipitation should stop. Looks like we will get an early taste of November weather this week.

Today for breakfast I used more of the almond flour and made pumpkin muffins. Here's the pancake recipe:

The muffin recipe is there too. I'd have to do a little math to figure out how the nut allowance works out. The muffins were delicious but I am going to freeze most of them and parcel them out as a treat, particularly since my November weight loss goal is probably going to be the 2 pounds I didn't lose in October!

Today DH and I are going to an estate auction for entertainment. Then I have a few papers to grade and a few other niggles I didn't quite finish yesterday.

I slept in til 8 a.m. this morning but then again I was up late watching the World Series.

It was such a beautiful day yesterday, we did end up going to the Zoo and then the pep rally. Got most of the cleaning done just have a bit to finish up today and finish laundry.

I did get my picture album cabinet organized as I was trying to find a picture.

Today is another nice day and then temperatures drop again, Ruth I could use one of those remote starters, I normally just run out and start and then run in to finish up a couple of things while it does it work.

The best laid plans of mice and men - well women! Cooked and messed around all morning and decided to go to get some more groceries at noon when the phone rang. I had forgotten the AGM for the Fair Board was today and had to scurry over to the Fair Hall. It's important to be at the AGM because that's election time and you sometimes get "voluntold" if you are AWOL.

Anyhow that kind of finished my plans for the afternoon although I did get to watch Macbeth on PBS. Just back from taking Barb her supper and it'll be soup for me tonight because there was a turkey dinner at the AGM.

Sipping a Scotch and hoping tomorrow goes as planned.

I think its still afternoon. When does it become evening. Had to go and stock up on some baking supplies today. Its getting to be that season.
Did I tell you am addicted to breaking bad. My kids told me it wasn't my kind of show that I am more a downton abbey kind. Although I have closed my eyes during some parts. Supper is in the crockpot just waiting for ds2 to arrive

We are relaxing with some wine after a very busy and productive day. I made Kalyn's slow roasted tomatoes with shrimp and feta again. This is definitely one of our favorite new recipes. I served it over spiraled zucchini. I think it would be good even without the shrimp. Definitely a new favorite. Now for some crustless apple pie for dessert. What a perfect way to end the weekend
