I wanted to pop in and say hi. I am busier (and more stressed) than I have ever been yet I just keep reminding myself how important it is to stay OP. My greatest OP asset during this crazy time has been having my cupboards/refrigerator/freezer stocked with OP foods. I do have to make a 1x/week produce shop but I have had zero temptation to "eat out" because there's "nothing at home". I'm following P2 and maintaining my weight which feels really great.

Yesterday was a bit of plan. I had some pull pork tacos at a mexican restaurant but they were very small and supper was a bowl of soup

B. Ww french toast with agave nectar
L. Soup
Supper. Braised scallops, asparagus and sweet potato mash. Will try to skip dessert of tart tatin with french vanilla ice cream

Yesterday:

B: egg, turkey sausage, cheese, V8 and coffee
S: turkey and cheese slices with grape tomatoes, cucumbers and spicy mustard
L: chili
D: I made fish but it was icky so I had the avocado relish, green beans and more turkey/cheese/tomatoes

Today (going food shopping in a few)
B: ham, egg, cheese, salsa, coffee
L: cucumbers, tomatoes, turkey and hummus

Ugh. So today is my last day of P1. An I'm going to a concert tonight, so I planned to swing by a deli or something on my way to get some dinner. Ended up going to au Bon pain while waiting for a friend at the bus station... Figured I could grab some soup. Literally, they had ZERO soups that passed muster. So I opted to transition to P1.5, literally one meal shy of P1 perfection, because I figured lentil and barley soup is still preferable to a bun-less hot dog at the arena. Dammit!

Got on the scale - dropped 8 pounds during my first week on Phase 1!!!!



B: yogurt with SF Yoo-hoo, V8, coffee
S: turkey, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, cheese and hummus
L: salad with tuna
S: taco bake
D: PBC

bad bad day... started out on plan then took a downward spiral at our staff meeting where there were nothing but bready & sugary snacks... didnt do too bad after that, but I must admit, I did cave and I did cheat.

I wont post exactly what I had, out of respect of my fellow SBDers.
Sigh! Tomorrow is another day & I will be on plan.
